There were dragons when Eira Úlfer was a girl. Large beasts of reptilian scales as tough as iron and wingspans stretching on for miles; breaths of fire hot enough to melt skin, and teeth and claws as sharp as the sharpest blade amongst Midgard. Three hundred years have come and gone with the Vikings of the Isle of Berk at war with these dragons. Making it their mission in slaying every beast and harvesting a trophy to remember the kill; from the tiniest of claws to the thickest of horns to showcase proudly within their homes. The art of killing a dragon was proof in broadcasting how worthy and strong you are as a warrior in protecting the next generation.
For Eira, as the daughter of the village's most formidable, it was only expected of her to follow in the footsteps before her.
