Prototype #7 = Experiment: Liquid Body/Resurrection

Junko started planning this experiment shortly after the last one, after quickly getting the idea for it. It took quite a bit of planning on how we were going to be able to turn Taro's body into water -or a water-like substance- and still be able to resurrect him. We figured that we would keep his brain, eyes, optic nerves, and spine intact once they were healed, so the nervous system would work. The rest of his body would be composed of a saline solution, and mutated muscle and nerve cells that are clear and have a higher water content than regular cells, and can easily come back together since they are easy to separate due to being so liquidy. These specialized cells also are able to bind to large amounts of water molecules, and move them along with the muscles.

We began by repairing the damage done to the subject's back, since we would be keeping the spine. Then, slowly and surely, we removed his organs (except for the ones we were keeping) and replaced them with the specialized muscle and nerves, and saline. During this we had to constantly keep his body under a minor electric current, to make sure that it didn't randomly destabilize. Once that was finished, we added the neurotransmitters to his brain, and gave a larger electric shock to his brain to re-start it up for good.

Because of the alterations to his body chemistry, the chemical construct of Taro's eyes seems to have changed, as the irises have turned a much brighter, and slightly bluer, color. Since he can't eat, the subject's body obtains nutrients by diffusion, so instead of meals we give him saline with nutrients concentrated in it, which also replaces any fluid his body might have lost due to evaporation.
