Prototype #14 = Experiment: Cocoon Suit/Resurrection

For the last and craziest one, we went all out on the weirdness factor of Asukasei's experimentation. Even though most of his body was in fairly okay condition, we decided to completely change it anyway, turning him into a bug-like creature. Along with that, the creature would have a cocoon-like "suit", shaped like a normal human, that it could hide in and move as if the cocoon was its real body.

Before we made any incisions on the body, we had to create the new pieces of this monster. Skin was grown using the cloning machine, which was spliced with the DNA of spiders, making it dark and tough like an exoskeleton. Muscle, nerve, and blood vessels were set into the exoskeleton. The creature has a total of 10 legs, all of which are very long, in order to be able to move the cocoon once it was made. There are 4 upper legs, which are somewhat similar to spider legs, and 6 lower legs, that are more like insect legs. The mouth is on the very top of the body, and is a gaping hole filled with sharp teeth. There are 2 long antennae on the sides of the creature's "head".

By now, we could start up most of the resurrection procedure. All the vital organs were repaired, and then, all the organs were removed and set in the new body. The brain was removed from the disembodied head, and re-connected to the nervous system in the new body. The esophagus was connected to the new mouth, and the lungs were connected to respiratory pores near the mouth. Two new eyes, with a similar structure to spider eyes, were made and connected to the brain. The genetic structure of the eyes was slightly modified to turn them bright red.

Once we had mutilated Asukasei beyond recognition, it was time to make the special cocoon. We modeled its body shape off of Asukasei's when he was human. The inside of the cocoon is mostly hollow, along with structures of strings that allow fine-tuned motion of limbs and the hands. It's made of a tough, fabric-like material similar to spider silk. In fact, the only thing that could harm Asukasei while in the suit is extreme heat, cold, or something like an explosion, since the material of the cocoon is almost indestructible. After everything was in place, we performed the final steps in the resurrection process, and waited for the final human experiment to wake up.
