Prapai wished this girl would give up. How many times did he have to tell her that he wasn't interested before she would leave him alone?

"I suggest you find someone else to dig your claws into. He's taken."

The racer was taken aback by Rena's appearance and her tone of voice. Unlike some of his other regulars, she was never one to fight over him. Instead, she waited patiently and then managed to catch him at the right moment. So, he had never seen this side of her. Strong Rena was sexy.

"By who? You?"

The other girl laughed which annoyed Prapai. Why was the idea of Rena being with him a laughable one?

"Doesn't matter, but it's not you, is it?"

The girl looked up at the racer hoping for some sign that he wanted her to stay, but he didn't even look her way. Prapai smiled as the other girl stormed away with a huff, but Rena wasn't smiling.

"What are you doing P'Prapai?"

Prapai blinked. He didn't like being the object of Rena's ire. He held up his hands.

"She came onto me! I was trying to get rid of her. I can't help that I'm popular."

"Imagine if Sky had seen you just now. What would he think?"

"Sky knows I'm devoted to him."

"From over there, it looked like you had your arm around her. She was all over you! Why didn't you move away?"

"I was trying to be polite. I - I didn't encourage her. I told her I wasn't interested."

"That's not enough. They're not going to let go of you so easily."

"You did."

A funny expression came over Rena's face and she looked away, avoiding eye contact. Prapai wondered what had caused her sudden change in demeanour.

"Next time, think about Sky."

"Rena -"

She was walking away before he had the chance to say anything.

Prapai frowned a little as he watched her go. He hadn't seen her around lately, which was unusual because she always seemed to be cutting into his time with Sky. However, recently, the racer had gotten to spend a lot more time with the focus of his affections. This made him happy, so he hadn't questioned why Rena hadn't been hanging out with her best friend. Now he was wondering if something had happened between them.

A hand on his shoulder knocked him out of his thoughts. Prapai turned his head to see Phayu.

"The race is cancelled. The rain had made it too unsafe. The architecture students are working late tonight, want to stop by and pick up our boys?"

"You know I do. Let's go."

Sky tried to hide it but Prapai could tell that the student was happy to see him. The boy looked tired and stressed out.

"What can I do to help?"

"P'Pai, you know you don't have to help. You don't even have to be here. You can go home."

"Do you not want me here?"

For a moment Prapai thought Sky wasn't going to reply.

"Here. You can help me with this."

Prapai took Sky home and the exhausted boy didn't protest when the racer follows him inside.

"Here, give me those. I'll put your stuff away, get ready for bed."

The racer watched fondly as Sky shuffled into the bedroom. When he follows, the boy is in his boxers and t-shirt spread across the bed. It was as if he was trying to test Prapai's self-control.

Sitting on the bed, he leaned over Sky and reached out until his hand was hovering over the boy's thigh and the hem of his boxers.

"P'Pai, are you going to have your way with me?"

Prapai jumped away and ran his hands through his hair as he looked up at Sky's now open eyes. This only made him want the boy more, so he removed himself from the sight of temptation by going to the bathroom.

Sky was still awake when Prapai laid down next to him.

"I'm surprised."

"By what?"

"That you didn't try anything."

"I'll wait until you're ready. I'd wait forever for you."

Prapai liked the way Sky reacted to his words. He hadn't been trying to get that reaction. He meant every word. When the younger boy finally looked at him again, the racer wasn't sure what to make of Sky's expression.

"P'Pai, I need to talk to you about something."

"What's up, my Sky?"

"It's about Rena."
