✵The sun had been beating down along the waters surface ever since it had risen that day. The Ocean has never disappointed the Metkayina tribe with its outstanding beauty and remarkable ocean life, allowing the Metkayina to live peacefully, working alongside the wildlife.
On this particular day, Jre'saya and Tsireya had gone out on their Ilu's to simply explore the ocean and it's wonders even if they've done it all their lives.
The sisters had just started making their way back home before they heard the loud sound of the tribe shell as a fellow Metkayina member blew it, signaling we had visitors. The sisters surfaced and looked around for the unexpected visitors. Jre'saya turned to her sister. "Were we expecting company?"
The Navi language slipping off her tounge as she spoke. "I don't know" Tsireya responded, looking just as confused as her sister.
"Let's go check it out" Tsireya responded, looking back at Aya with a smile before diving underwater and swimming back towards home. Aya smiled before following after her, Her Ilu clicking happily.
The sisters slowly surfaced, still a little ways away from the bundle of Matkayina as they surrounded what looked to be Forest Navi and their Ikran's. "It's Omatikaya people" Aya spoke up in a whisper, trying to see past some surrounding Matkayina, Some of her wet, braided hair slowly cascading down her right shoulder.
Tsireya nodded, confirming that it was Omatikaya before slowly ushering her Ilu closer to the group of Navi, Aya soon following. As they got closer Aya could see their small tails and skinny arms. "Look at their little tails" Aya chuckled, pointing at a couple of them, stirring a laugh from her sister.
"Must you always make fun of someone?" Tsireya giggled as both sisters dived off their Ilu's and quickly surfacing, walking along the sand, side by side. Tsireya held a hand to her mouth as her giggles continued. "I definitely do" Aya responded, both sisters laughing, catching two brothers attention as they both looked to the two sisters.
The sisters had stopped laughing, turning their attention to the two Omatikaya Brothers. Tsireya flipping some hair behind her back, making eye contact with the younger looking brother.
Aya's attention was on the older looking brother as he looked at her back. Neteyam had felt something in his stomach as he looked at her, almost like a flutter of some sort. Both sisters kept eye contact with the brothers until the brothers both looked to the ground with small blushes along their cheeks.
The two sisters smiled, looking at each other before walking up to where their brother Ao'nung was with his friends as they made fun of the Brothers small tails, their jokes being way more mean than Aya had been when mentioning it earlier to her sister.
Aya walked up to her brother, hitting him against the head to stop while Tsireya stopped Rotxo. "Do not Ao'nung" Aya hissed quietly. Aya turned to look at the Brothers, but the Older looking one had her sights more.
He gave her a small nod. "Hey" He mumbled, just like his brother did. Both sisters smiled, Tsireya looking down with a small blush and Aya simply looking away to her right with a small smile.
Their actions were stopped as the sounds of Tsurak's had come close to the group before they flung out of the water, gliding above the new group, them ducking like they would get hit.
Tonowari, the leader of the Metkayina, and Aya's adoptive father, had gotten off of his Tsurak, walking up to the newcomers. Aya and her sister walked towards their father, standing on the sidelines to their left as the adults talked.
The adults greeted each other with 'I see you'. Jake was the fathers name. It wasn't long after the greetings as Aya's adoptive mother, Ronal walked through the crowd as they parted ways for her to walk to the newcomers.
