Knuckles is guarding the Master emerald as usual. The sun beats down on the ground but then is suddenly covered. Knuckles looks up to see a ship of some kind.
Knuckles: That looks like... A restoration shuttle?
The shuttle closes in on angel island and looks to be landing. Someone jumps off of the shuttle and lands on the island. The person looks up and it turns out to be Sonic.
Knuckles: SONIC?!
Sonic: Hey knux.
Knuckles: Why do you look like metal Sonic?!
Sonic: Long story. Stay back- I didn't want to land on the grass just in case.
Knuckles: What's wrong with my grass?!
Sonic: Nothing. Just... look Amy, Y/n and Tails will explain. I gotta get back up to speed.
Sonic runs off.
Knuckles:[Shouts] THEY BETTER! I WANT ANSWERS!
Knuckles sees Amy, Y/n and Tails coming in to land.
Knuckles: Although I may not like it.
Elsewhere.
The deadly six come out of the portal Starline had made and Eggman is shocked.
Eggman: Starline! You traitor!
Starline: Not at all sir. I brought the deadly six here to solve the problem you could not.
Eggman: I'll deal with you later! Metal! Destroy for daddy!
Metal Sonic comes out of his hiding place and goes to attack the deadly six but he is stopped by Zavok's robot controlling powers.
Zavok: Tsk tsk tsk. Honestly doctor. You know we can control your robots. And yet you said one to attack?
Starline holds up the conch.
Starline: Precisely why I brought you here. You six will keep the zombots under control while Eggman researches a way to contain the virus. You see doctor? I am making up for your lack of foresight.... Excuse me.
Starline takes a deep breath and blows into the conch.
Starline: Back[huffs] in line[huffs] beast...
Zazz hits his head against Starline causing him pain while Zeena takes away the conch and hands it to Zavok.
Zavok: What was that about "lack of foresight"?
While Zavok is talking, Orbot and Cubot send a message to a familiar bat.
Starline:[shocked] But... the conch....
Eggman: It only works as long as your lungs last!
Zavok gives them a menacing look.
Zavok: Then we'll remove those first. Now then, metal Sonic destroy for daddy.
Metal Sonic obeys and goes after them while Starline opens a portal. The three of them fall through the portal and it then closes.
Zazz:[groans in anger and frustration] We had him! How are we suppose to tear him to shreds now?!
Zavok: Hmm.. We shift our priorities...We've lost Eggman, but we gain his flying fortress. We took his means of creating the metal virus and perhaps the most important of all... We have the feeble chaos emeralds!
Zeena: Huzzah. What do we do with them?
Zor: They're so shiny and beautiful. Ugh I can't stand them. But their powers irrefutable.
