AMANDA'S POV
"Stupid gate." I mumbled as I turned my attention back to the gate, I was panicked. What if I die right now? Will I die right now? Who is this person following me? Why are they following me? Those were the thoughts that willed me to continue trying to open the gate.
"It's not the gates fault it's stupid." Someone whispered in my ear. The voice sent shivers up and down my spine as my eyes widened even more. I was terrified.
I whipped my head around as I tried to back up, but I ended up backing into the fence. The darkened figure took a step closer to me. The figure was now a few centimeters away from me. I tried to see their face through the darkness of the alley. Even if the alley wasn't so dark, I wouldn't be able to see their face, they were wearing a hood that casted a shadow on their face.
The figure brought his hand up to my face and ran his fingers down my cheek. I slapped his hand causing him to chuckle. I looked at the boy's darkened face, my eyes were still wide with fear. I slipped one of my hands behind my back as I tried to open the gate once again.
The boy let out another deep chuckle, it was actually kind of intimidating. "The gates not going to open." He spoke. His voice, his height, his chuckle, his darkened figure just intimidated me more.
I could tell by the whites of his eyes, which happened to be the the only thing I could make out, that he was looking past me. I quickly slipped away from him and sprinted down the alleyway again. It seemed as if right as I took my first step he had too, as if he knew I would run. I looked behind me, the dim lights of the nearby road were shining on his face. A large smirk was fixed on his face as he chased after me, was he enjoying this?
I turned the corner to run straight into two men. They turned to me, I had fallen to the ground. One of them grabbed my wrist and pulled me up. The other walked over to me, a small smirk on his face. His eyes scanned me up and down. I tried to back away, but the first man was holding me tightly. The other man was now standing inches in front of me still smirking.
The man pressed his lips to mine and I tried to scream, but it came out all muffled. The man snaked his arms around my waist. I tried to push him back, but I was being held by my arms. I stomped on his foot, but he did nothing.
Just then a fist came flying knocking the man away from me and onto the ground. Another punch was thrown coming in contact with the other mans face. The first man stood back up and punched the figure in the face. The figure was the boy who had chased me. The boy pushed the man into the brick wall causing him to hit his head, hard.
The boy gabbed my wrist as he pulled me out of the alleyway and onto the now deserted streets. I just stared at the figures still shaded face, I was still terrified whether or not he had just saved me. The boy continued to drag me down the road. His grip tightened around my wrist as I tried to pull away. I whimpered quietly in pain, my wrist hurt badly. The boy just ignored my whimpers and continued walking down the road.
He stopped outside a house, but he didn't let go of my wrist. He walked up the steps and unlocked the door. He pushed it open and pushed me inside. Before I could run off anywhere, he locked the door. He then turned to me and pulled the hood off of his face.
He had blueish-grayish eyes, they we're actually rather intriguing. He had messy brown hair that looked quite handsome with his tanned skin. His skin was clear, almost clear enough to be on a facial wash commercial. He had a light purple ring around his eye, that must've been where he had been punched.
I hadn't realized how long I had been staring until he spoke. "Like what you see?" He asked with a smirk. He wiggled his eyebrows which normally would've caused me to break out into a fit of laughter, but I was scared.
We stood there in silence for awhile before I spoke. "W-why did you kidnap me?" I asked in a whisper. I was so scared right now, for all I knew this boy was a murderer. My gaze had fallen to my feet, the heels I wore suddenly became interesting.
"I have to keep you safe." He replied. His voice was serious and deep, it actually made me nervous.
I backed up against the door as I stared at my feet. My back hit the door and I slid down it until I was sitting on the floor. My knees were up at my chest. I covered my face with my hands as I started to cry. I have never been this scared in my life.
I heard him sit down next to me. He wrapped his arm around my shoulder and pulled me closer to him. I slapped his arm and pushed him away. His actions caused me to cry even more. He slowly got up and shuffled into a different room leaving me to cry in silence.
I peeked through my fingers making sure he wasn't still in the hallway. I closed my fingers as I shut my eyes. Tears rolled down my cheeks hitting the hard floor. I wondered if I'd ever see my parents again, what about my friends? Was today the last time I'd ever see them?
