Chapter 63- And The Truth Comes Out

Zayn's POV

Louis kept Amanda pushed up against the wall, both of them staring at me. Louis was wide-eyed like he was surprised and even angered, while Amanda seemed to silently beg me for help and to get her away from Louis. Louis then turned to look at Amanda and began murmuring things to her quietly so I couldn't hear him and she kept telling him to stop like what he was saying bothered her or wasn't true. I couldn't quite catch what he was saying to her but I caught some of it, it was along the lines of him calling me a bad guy and that I was dangerous to be around and him telling her not to leave him because she is safe here and she won't be if she goes with me. I rolled my eyes at Louis before I grabbed him by the collar of his shirt and pulled him away from Amanda, pushing him onto the couch so he was now sitting down just looking up at me.

"Leave her alone, she obviously doesn't want to stay here with you. You were the one that made her want to leave, you went all crazy and hurt her. It's not anybody else's fault but yours. Now I suggest you leave her the fuck alone because you're an abusive douche bag and she is a sweet girl who deserves something better than you, a lot better," I said before I grabbed Amanda's bags off the ground and walked outside, setting them into the trunk of my car.

Amanda slowly followed me out of the house and she got into the passenger side of the car silently, I knew this was hard for her and I actually felt quite bad although I knew getting her away from him was for the best. I sighed quietly to myself and shut the trunk of the car before I slid into the drivers seat and started the car. Louis was now standing at the door watching us, you could see the pain and hurt in his eyes as he watched her with me but I didn't care, I used to care a lot about him as if he were my own brother until he fucked Liam and I over a long time ago. I pulled out of the driveway and started driving down the road towards my house I shared with Liam. Amanda turned the radio on considering we were both quiet. I wanted to say something to make her feel better and less upset but I didn't know what to say, I was at a loss for words. It seemed to me she didn't want to talk anyways so I just kept quiet. I listened to the radio, tapping my fingers on the steering wheel along with the music as my mind began to wander to thoughts of Louis.

Liam, Louis, and I used to actually be best friends which is hard to believe now. We worked together, hung out together, we even lived together but then Louis changed. Sure we all changed at least a little bit but Louis changed a lot and it was not a good change at all, it was actually a terrible change which sort of scared me to be honest, I think it scared Liam as well. Liam and I wanted to become police officers together and Louis wanted to become something I thought was completely ridiculous. He wanted to become some sort of kidnapper and assassin. People would come to him and ask him to either kill someone or kidnap someone for them and Louis would do it without hesitating no matter what. He didn't care if it was little kid, a girl, a boy, one of his friends, an adult, an innocent person, an elderly person, he just didn't care at all. After Louis moved out he would kidnap people and bring them to his house where he would start off nice and get them to trust him, then he would lead them out somewhere and just murder them without a single care. He was taking a person's lifes who didn't deserve to die and he didn't care at all. Liam and I found out about what he was doing and we tried to stop it. We first spoke to Louis about it but he just told us to fuck off and that he would do what he wanted no matter what we said or did. So we tried a different way of stopping him. We took the people that he had kidnapped and saved them. Louis began to see Liam and I as the bad guys, whether it was because we ruining his plans or it was an act for the person he kidnapped to show he "cared" about them I don't really know. Liam always found out the details of the people Louis kidnapped somehow which made it easier for us but we didn't know anything about Amanda except what she looked like which made the job a lot harder for us. Our friend Harry joined us about a month before we found out about Amanda but Louis tricked him into thinking we were the bad guys as well so he turned on us and actually helped Louis escape with Amanda, he is still helping Louis he just doesn't understand what he is doing is wrong because he doesn't understand what he is actually doing. Liam and I have been keeping an eye on Amanda and Louis because we still don't know if he truly loves her or if it's his little act to trick her into trusting him. To me it seems like it's an act now by the way he is hurting her and Liam agrees with me because if you truly loved someone you wouldn't hurt them, you would protect them, no matter what.

I know the chapter is short and I don't like it but I wanted to end it there and there is a lot of things to take in from this chapter.
