Amanda's POV

Louis pulled away from the hug and looked at me for awhile before he took my hand and walked upstairs to the living room with me. He sat me down on the couch before he sat down next to me. He didn't let go of my hand, probably because he thought I would run away if I got the chance which is exactly what I would do.

"What did you do to Harry?" I asked breaking the silence.

Louis didn't answer, he just stared out the window for awhile. I sighed quietly and looked down at our hands for a moment before I looked down at the sneakers on my feet.

"I'm going to help you." Louis said. I turned to look up at him and he was already looking down at me.

"What do you mean? I don't need help with anything." I said completely confused.

"I'm going to help you remember me, remember us." He replied looking into my eyes. "I am going to help you remember everything we did together that way I can get you back."

"And how exactly are you going to do that?" I asked raising an eyebrow at him.

Louis thought for awhile before he finally spoke. "You ask a question, a question like you're favorite color is red and then I have to answer it truthfully by saying real or not real. The questions you ask won't be like that but they should be about me, about us, about anything you don't remember or want to know." He said.

"Alright, you scare me." I mumbled.

Louis sighed and mumbled, "real, sort of."

"We were actually dating before." I said.

"Real." Louis replied.

"We dated for a long time."

"Real."

"I dated Niall before the accident."

"Not real."

"Harry has been my best friend for a long time."

"Real."

"Harry is okay."

"Real."

"I liked you."

"Real."

"You liked me."

"Not real, I loved you."

I stopped and turned to look at him, my eyes locked with his. He hesitantly placed his hand on my cheek and ran the pad of his thumb along my cheek bone as we just stared at each other. He bit his lower lip and looked down at the floor for a moment. I slowly placed my index finger underneath his chin and raised his head to look at me.

"You loved me?" I asked and he simply nodded.

I pulled my hand away and placed it in my lap as he took his hand off of my cheek. I looked down for awhile just thinking before I finally looked up at him again. He was looking down at his sneakers and he looked to be deep in thought.

"Hey Lou?" I said.

"What is it love?" He asked looking back up at me.

"Can you tell me what we were like before?" I asked wanting to know more about what we were like, I wanted to remember him but I sort of just wanted to hear him talk.

"Of course." He replied. "You were perfect, you were beautiful just like you are now. You're kisses were perfect, every time we kissed I got butterflies in my stomach and I seemed to fall even more in love with you. We weren't afraid to show our love, no matter where we were we would kiss and we wouldn't care about anybody else. I was really protective of you because I loved you so much, I wanted to make sure nothing ever hurt you, nothing ever took you away from me but you didn't like that and I didn't do the best job protecting you anyways. We shared a few bad moments together but those bad moments just made our relationship stronger. You were literally my other half, you were what made me want to get up in the morning. You're smile was contagious, you were always making me smile. And you're laugh was like music to my ears, I loved hearing your laugh not only because it was adorable but because it meant you were safe and happy. We always fell asleep wrapped in each other's arms and that's the only place I ever wanted to be, wrapped in your arms. The first kiss we ever shared was actually kind of weird but it was still amazing. We had fallen asleep on the couch, you were laying on top of me and I had my arms wrapped around you. You got up even though I didn't want you to and although I was awake I kept my eyes closed but you knew I was awake because I was smiling at you. You knelt down and pecked my lips and right after that you actually ran down the hallway and locked yourself in the closet because you were embarrassed." He stopped to chuckle as I giggled at the sound of our first kiss, I wish I remembered what happened that day. "You were the only person I truly cared about and I hated being away from you so I hated when you left my side. You liked when I sang to you so I often sang for you and you liked when I hummed in your hair which was how I calmed you down a lot when you were upset."

I just watched him and listened to him as he spoke, a smile tugging at my lips. Our relationship sounded so perfect, I wish I could have remembered something, anything about us but I couldn't remember.

"Have I ever told you I liked your tattoos?" I asked randomly.

Louis thought for a moment before he shook his head, "no, I don't think you have ever mentioned liking my tattoos."

"Well I like them." I said smiling at him.

"Oh really? Which one is your favorite?" He asked looking at me with a smile tugging at his lips.

I grabbed his left arm and examined all of the tattoos on it. I slowly rotated his arm so I could see every single tattoo. I then grabbed his right arm and looked at the tattoos on that arm. I looked up to see him watching me with a smile tugging at his lips. I smiled back at him before I looked back down at his arm as I continued looking at all of his tattoos.

"They are all pretty cool but I think I like this one the best." I said. I pointed to the inner side of his right hand near his wrist to the small tattoo of a flock of birds before I looked back at him.

Louis glanced down at the tattoo I was pointing at before he looked back up at me with a smile. "I like that one too." He said.

I ran a hand through my hair, pushing my bangs out of my face as I looked at him. I stood up without saying anything and walked into the kitchen with him following a few strides behind. I grabbed a cup and filled it with water before taking a few sips of it. I set the partially filled cup of water on the counter as I looked around the kitchen, a smile tugging at my lips. I looked back at him and he was already smiling at me.

"Hey, do you remember that time when you were embarrassed because you kept burning those pancakes so I had to make them myself. You were just so embarrassed because there was like twenty burnt pancakes in the trash can." I said laughing as I remembered that day.

Louis laughed along with me as he nodded. "I was trying to impress you and it didn't help that I kept burning pancakes, it made me look like a bad cook." He said. He suddenly stopped laughing and looked at me with wide eyes causing me to stop laughing. "Wait, you remember that? I didn't say anything about that day."

"I do remember that day, do you think I'm getting my memory back?" I asked Louis hopefully.

Louis shrugged, "I don't know Amanda but I sure hope you do but if you don't I'll help you remember as best as I can by just telling you every single detail about our relationship if I have to."
