The next day seemed to pass swiftly. Outer, and Blue were the first two that seemed to be awake in the house as they prepared themselves for the day. They didn't plan on going out yet, but today would be a good day to scout out some better spots to hide and lose off those guards.
When the two of them were ready to go out, there were abruptly stopped. Khole, the small familiar had stood in front of the door with a smile, seeming to be waiting on them to try and leave.
"Off so soon?" Khole with a warm smile said. Outer and Blue looked at each other before nervously smiling. "We thought to...scout out the town to be better at stealth..." Blue explained rubbing the back of his skeletal neck.
"While knowing your surrounding is very important with being stealth, you need to use the surroundings to your advantage" Khole crossed her arms. "I'm not letting you guys off the hook for your mess up the other day-" Khole huffed.
Outer and Blue already looked drained. "It's hard when you're scrambling to get away from the guards...give us a break" Outer whined a little. "No buts! The multiverse is at stake here! We can't take any risk and we must catch up on our strengths and weaknesses now before later!" Khole said with determination.
"No scouting yet- for now we're training!" Khole said proudly. Blue slightly doubted how hard this might be. Who knows, looking at Khole, they seem not to be too much of a big deal.
Ink finally seemed to have woken up and saw the scene occur. "Oh- Good luck to you guys" Ink yawned. "I'll be sure to prepare you some ice packs!" Ink chuckled almost jokingly. Blue then got worried.
"It's just a simple game of hide and seek!" Khole reassured them. "I'll give you guys five minutes to go out and hide in the forest before I come to find you guys. If I find you I have to capture you guys to make it count, so feel free to run away like you would if I were a guard!" she explained. It seemed simple enough.
Khole opened the door for them. "Once you step out your time starts so make it count," Khole said. Outer and Blue looked at each other. They then both jogged out as Khole closed the door and started counting to herself.
It took a while for the two of them to get some distance. Once they felt far away enough, they decided to split up. It shouldn't take them too long to find a good hiding spot.
When the five minutes were up Khole stepped out of the house. Ink and Dream were already outside training by then.
Ink had pushed Dream back who was holding up a shield and seemed to be getting much better at handling a shield. Dream usually has to take a break by now, but his stamina has increased as well as there control.
"Oh hey! Be sure to go easy on them for the first try, let them get warmed up...THEN go all out-" Ink noted. "I have no time for that! They need to be ready!" Khole pouted. "Alright- but don't expect them to get it if you're rushing them! The technic will be sloppy-" Ink said.
Dream charged up to Ink who was able to dodge and kick Dream down to the ground. "Nice try Dream!" Ink smiled. Dream had brushed himself off and got into his fighting stance, ready to try again.
"I'll be sure they're not sloppy, now I gotta go before they get cocky!" Khole then started running out into the forest.
"Will Outer and Blue be okay?" Dream asked as an attack of paint was splattered all over his shield, Inking charging and kicking at his shield.
Dream leaned forward into Ink's kick and was able to hold his ground. "I'm sure they'll be fine! Sore afterward, but fine!" Ink reassure.
"I think you're able to hold a shield decently! You've improved so much all of a sudden!" Ink smiled. "I think I just figured out how to stand correctly" Dream smiled, remembering what Cross had told him.
