Dream and Khole had gone to the edges of the forest, or at least the area closest to Nightmare kingdom. Khole had heard he was planning to cut the trees on this side, knowing it was a blind spot for him if any attacks were to come.

Khole almost certain this area will soon be cut down due to Dream being free. Dream and Khole had their hood up, there face unsee by anyone around.

"So, how did you put that letter in the castle undetected?" Khole asked. Dream pointed at the window on the side of the castle, far up.

Khole ears drooped down. "...Y' know what! I have a better idea!" Khole said.

Khole walked up to the front door of the kingdom. Dream stayed in the forest. The guards saw the small child and stopped her, blocking the door.

"State your business! Young one!" the guard told her. She jumped, or course for an act. It's already obvious Nightmare views her as a child or someone young, which is hardly the case, but she at least wants Nightmare to view her as a young woman instead of a child.

Kings can't get too attached to children, so it's best to act like a woman, a frightened, small one at that.

"Um...I've come to deliver a letter..." she said. The guard rose a brow, "A letter huh? Let us see," They said. Khole did so, she presumed it was just there way of checking it wasn't poisoned, gassed, or something else bad.

They opened it and looked at the letter inside. "Tch? A handmade letter for the king? What are ya' tryin get at?" the guard scoffed.

Khole expected this rude behavior, most would always stomp on the small, weak ones...they must think she lives in the bad part of town, the beginning of the kingdom at that...the place was there barely any food or water...

The closer you live to the castle, the more wealthy you are. Sure you get nice things the closer you get to the castle, but money is a very hard thing to earn, probably the reason most people who live near the castle are thieves, manipulators, or just pushovers.

The only reason for this is because of Nightmare hierarchy. While everyone closer to him is rich, the ones most far are poor as an example, as a demonstration of failure, that way he can keep the important people from slacking off.

Smart sure, cruel absolutely...

"Ya' think the kings gonna read some flimsy letter of pleading? Don't waste his time!" they said as they threw the letter on the floor and stomped on it.

"Uh-" Khole stuttered a bit worried, "That's enough," a deep voice said. That voice made the guard shoot up. Look away from whoever that was. Khole picked up the letter and looked up to see...

"K-King Nightmare..." she stuttered a little. Nightmare looked down at her, she was almost halfway up his leg.

"Do I...know you?" Nightmare asked, "U-UhH...I-I'm S-Star...I-I..was u-uh..." Khole stuttered. Nightmare smiled at the small one, "I thought you were a child, guess I was wrong...your just...a very happy, young, women," he said.

"Huh?" Khole said. Nightmare took a knee to her small level, "I'm guessing you're here to deliver a letter for me?" Nightmare asked.

Khole bowed her head and handed him the letter, "I-I...I uh...it was v-very nice to meet you," Khole said, "Likewise..." Nightmare said as he stood up and pat her head.

Was she nervous? Yes, but for a different reason...hell if Nightmare knew it was her, Khole, then she'd be dead in a second. She glad her appearance has changed over time, but she's terrified...now that Nightmare knows her as Star, as one of his people...just imagine what would happen if he figured out she wasn't...
