Minho, Newt and Rey sat down at there usual spot for dinner and were talking about the day they just had.
"So Newt, did you enjoy staring at my sister earlier?" Minho asked trying to embarrass Newt. Which by the look on Newts face it worked.
Newts POV
"So Newt, did you enjoy staring at my sister earlier?" Minho asked in an attempt to embarrass me. Given by the fact my face went bright red, i'd say it worked. "Ummm..." i responded out of pure embarrassment. "Newtie?" Rey whispered to me, "are you okay?" "Yeah, i'm okay love. I'll meet you behind the homestead in five minutes love" i whispered in response.
Reys POV
I noticed Newts face go bright red when Minho asked him the question. I whispered to him, "Newtie? Are you okay?" "Yeah, i'm okay love" I felt my heart skip a beat when he called me love. "I'll meet you behind the homestead in five minutes love" he whispered back. I head over to the homestead going over in my head how i was going to tell him i think that i might be in love with him.
Lost in thought i didn't notice Newt join me until he asked me a question. "Huh, sorry what did you say Newtie?" "I just asked if you were okay love?" Newt repeated. "Yeah, i'm fine sorry". "Rey?" Newt started, "yeah?" I questioned. "Um- well how do i say this, i-i i like you, actually i think im in love with you". "Oh um Newt, i dont know what to say!" I answered softly. "Oh shuck Rey i'm sor-" I interrupted before he could finish talking, "just shut up Newtie!"
Rey softly grabbed Newts face and gently pressed her lips to his. Slowly Newts hand reached up and gently wrapped in Reys hair and eventually she did the same.
When we pulled away Newt spoke up first. "Wow love that was amazing... Love?" (pause) "Will you be my girlfriend?" "Yes Newtie, of course i will, i thought you'd never ask". I responded to the flustered boy. "May i kiss you again Love?" "Yes New-" before Rey could finish her sentence Newt connected their lips once more before they went to bed.
A/N: I know this chapter is short, it's more like a filler. Next chapter is going to be an 8 month skip, which will be the last jump for a few chapters until i decide to jump the three years to when Thomas arrives. Enjoy :) ♥
