Chapter 8- Newt and Rey ♠️

The day after Alby split the four volunteers Rey, Newt, Minho and Ben into pairs, the four kids walked up to the wall to wait for the doors to open. After the doors opened they all ran in Minho and Ben going right and Newt and Rey going left. 

Reys POV
"Okay, we'll meet back here at 5pm so we don't get locked in here, cause i don't know about you three but i do not want to meet the grievers, like ever." My brother gave a mini speech. 

"Me neither", Newt, Ben and I spoke in unison.
"Be careful, don't die!" Minho sprouted inspiration at us. 

"Don't worry Min, we will". I reassured my brother. "Look after my sister Newtie!" Min said to the brit with a large grin on his face. "Only Rey can me that Min!" Newt responded angrily "Oi same goes for Min you shan-" I interrupted Minho before he could insult Newt any further "Hey! the doors are open now, so stop your bickering you two, we're already losing time by just standing here." I yelled at my boyfriend and annoying twin brother. 

With that Newt and i went left and Minho and Ben went right...

Newts POV
I met Rey at the doors just before Minho got there. Minho turned up not even a minute after i did and started giving his be careful, don't die speech. 

"Look after my sister Newtie" Minho told me with a huge grin on his face. "Only Rey can call me that Min" I responded angrily. "Oi same goes for Min you shan-" before he could finish Rey interrupted him. "Hey! the doors are open now, so stop your shucking bickering you two, we're already losing time by just standing here." Rey yelled and Minho and I. After that we all ran in through the doors. 

Back to Newt and Reys POV
"Hey love? I'm sorry about arguing with Minho back there." Newt apologised to her. "Newtie, darling, you have nothing to be sorry for, my dumb shank of a brother started it. So what do you think we are gonna find out here?" Rey said softly. "Love, how do you wanna tell Minho we've been dating for the last 8 months, cause i'm worried he's gonna kill me."

"He's not gonna kill you baby, but if it makes you feel safer we'll tell him in the middle of the glade so you can easily run away from him. Okay?" "Yeah i like that plan love." Newt spits out between chuckles. 

Alright enough of fearing for your life at the hands of my brother.

After Newt and Rey were running for awhile, Newt noticed that the walls had big red letters W.C.K.D on a wall above them. Then Rey noticed another wall that read WORLD CATASTROPHE KILLZONE DEPARTMENT. 

"Um, Newt? These are the same letters on our supplies. What's does that mean?" Rey asked Newt quite worried. "Love, i have no shucking clue, but i'm sure it's nothing but we'll make sure to mention it to Alby anyway."

Before the pair knew it they needed to stop and eat the lunch Fry had cooked up for them. Fry had made them chicken sandwiches with some sort of blue sweet drink to keep us on our feet. 

"Do you ever think we are getting out of here Love?" Newt asked the girl "I don't know Newtie, I hope so though." Rey responded to the brit. 

After running for a few more hours Newt and Rey yelled out.

"Rey!"
"Newt!"
the couple shouted in unison. 

"Love, it's a maze." Newt realised and so did Rey. "Darling i was just about to say that. What the actual fuc- shuck is this place we've been trapped in." Rey started stressing. "Okay Love, keep running, it's 4:30pm we need to start heading back now. 

Once Rey and Newt started heading back to the glade, Rey's head started hurting slightly and she started seeing images of her, Newt and Minho before the glade and there was a woman dressed in all white kept telling the three of us that Wicked is good!

Newts POV
I kept running until i heard Rey scream in pain. When i turned around she was leaning against a wall holding her head. "Love? What's wrong, why are you holding your head?" I asked her softly as to not startle her. "I think i just had a memory of you, me and Min! look i'll tell you about tonight, let's just worry about getting back to the glade" She responded softly. 

Back to Newt and Reys POV
When Newt and Rey got back to the glade i was after 5 and Minho and Ben weren't back yet but Alby was at the entrance waiting for the four kids to get back. 

"What did you two find out there?" the leader asked Newt and Rey. "Well for starters we saw the same letters on a wall that we get our supplies and Rey noticed that another wall near to it read WORLD CATASTROPHE KILLZONE DEPARTMENT. "Wait... Alby wheres Minho and Ben" the second-in-command asked worried for me. 

As if on que Minho and Ben ran through the doors. 

"Holy shit, Ben what the shuck happened to your ankle?" I asked the boy concerned. 

"I tripped on a pile of rocks, just take me to the med-hut so Clint and Jeff can try and fix it. You three can go explain everything we all found to Alby..." Ben said to the three of us before Minho took him to find Clint and Jeff the medjacks.
