Chapter 15- Dude, where are you going?

Trigger Warning ⚠️ - Sexual Assault. I'm not trying to romanticize this is any way shape or form. I'm well aware of the fact this type of thing does not happen in the actual Maze Runner movies/books, but I am trying to spread awareness! Please let me or anyone at all know if you are struggling with anything. ❤️

Alby led the greenie to this big wooden structure in the middle of the green field. It looked like a treehouse, it was really high off the ground. 

"Hope your not afraid of heights. Lets go, come on." Alby spoke with a inkling of laughter in his voice. 

The greenie just stared up at the structure with the combined look of fear and confusion. 

"This is all we got. We've worked hard for it. If you respect this place, you and I will get along just fine." Alby began to establish but of course got asked another question from the newbie. 

"What's out there?" another question came from the green bean. 

Alby carried on avoiding the boys questions. "I only have three rules. First, do your part. No time for any freeloaders. Second, never harm another glader. None of this works unless we have trust. Most importantly... Never go beyond those walls. Now Newt has one rule and that's never hurt or touch Rey because not only is she the only girl but she and Newt have been together since she came up in the box and she is  Minhos twin sister, you'll meet him later. Do you you understand me, Greenie?" 

Before greenie could respond to Alby's introduction, a boy who couldn't be over 11 or 12 comes to the bottom of the treehouse.

"Hey Alby." the brown curly haired boy called up to us. 

"Hey Chuck. Where you been, man?" Alby called down to the boy in response. 

The known as Chuck took the greenie over to all the hammocks to explain a few things and put the greenies hammock up so he had somewhere to sleep. 

"Its basically the same story for all of us. We wake up in the box, Alby gives us the tour... then here we are. Don't worry you're already doing better than I did. I klunked my pants three times before they got me out of the pit. Oh, come on."

"Dude, where are you going?"

"I just wanna see."

"You can look around all you want, but you better not go out there."

"Why not? What's through there?"

"I don't know. I just know what I'm told. And we're not supposed to leave."

Just as Chuck said that two boys ran out of the doors as if on cue. One boy was blonde and Caucasian and the other was an Asian-looking boy with jet black hair.

"Hey Chuck. New greenie, huh? How's it feel to be promoted?" the blonde asked

"Feels great, Ben."

"I thought no one was allowed to leave."

"I said we're not allowed to leave. Their different their runners, they know more about the maze than anyone."

"Wait, what?"

"What?"

"What, you just said maze."

"I did?"

"Yeah."

Chuck looks away from the newbie already knowing he has said way to much. Then the boy with a buzzcut that pulled the greenie out of the box comes over and pushes the newbie back so far it looked like the boy had super strength. 

"Hey!"

"Get off me!"

"We gotta stop meeting like this greenie"
