You act out playing a guitar, bopping your head to the rhythm as Kazuo's fingers taps the wheel to the beat. When you know it's time for the singing to start, you dramatically swing your head in his direction and hold an invisible microphone to your mouth.

"I want to break free," you start, and then shove the non-existent mic in his face.

"I want to break free!"

"I want to break free from your lies, you're so self-satisfied I don't need you... I've got to break free." The both of you keep singing together. You dance in your seat, getting judgemental yet jealous glares from Kazuo who couldn't do the same if he didn't want to accidentally swing the car off the road.

It was February 14th, lovers' day, and you were on your way to kidnap Erica Sinclair.

"I've fallen in love!" Kazuo basically yells, startling you, and you start a merry war of who would scream the lyrics the hardest.

"I've fallen in love for the first time-"

"This time I know it's for real!"

He wins, unfortunately, however you act as if you don't care and enjoy the rest of the song in silence, trying to soothe your poor throat.

"I see her!" You gasp as you see the familiar figure walking down the street.

"What do I do?" Kazuo, who visibly wasn't prepared, starts panicking. You slap his shoulder, which offends him but succeeds in calming him down.

"Just slow down and follow her pace so I can convince her of getting in the car."

"That sounded so very criminal."

"It's what you signed up for when you agreed to help me kidnap someone, honey."

"She's right," he mutters to himself as he slows the car, and you open your window. "Why is she always right."

You were about to say something menacing to catch Erica's attention, but your words get caught in your mouth when you notice she is wearing the bow you gave her for Christmas a year ago, and you let out a coo that could be mistaken for a strangled, agonizing cry.

Erica turns her head in your direction, unimpressed.

"I thought I heard something that sounded like you," she clicks her tongue, keeping on walking, and the car follows.

"Erica, get in the car. I have come to kidnap you."

"What for?"

"I told you I would try one day. You don't remember?"

"Yes I do. Book one, chapter one. The very beginning."

You tap the door of the car in panic. "Hey! No breaking the fourth wall!"

"Whatever," she shrugs, directly looking at the reader before turning back to you. "You really suck at kidnapping."

"Well, I can't kidnap you for real. Someone would call the police if they saw me grabbing you off the streets like that."

"Your problem."

"Okay," you give in because a car following a little girl is already suspicious and you didn't want to have to explain yourself to Hopper. "So, your parents actually asked me to pick you up from school because I'm babysitting you tonight, but you were already gone when we arrived."

"I know. They told me this morning."

"Then why are you making this difficult?" You whine.

"Why should I make it easy?" She answers sassily, placing her hands on her hips. "You don't kidnap Erica."
