I was late to homeroom because of Dr Mac, maybe it was for the best? Rushing to the first period, I bumped into someone making them drop their phone.

"Woah! Are you okay?" They asked, holding me by the shoulders.

"Mhm" I nodded rapidly, glancing up at the... boy.
He had hazel eyes and brown hair, which fell over his forehead. I noticed his phone from the corner of my eye, picking it up I also saw that it was all cracked.

"Oh God, I'm incredibly sorry. How can I repay?" I was stressed, my first day and I already broke something. Well done me!

"Hey, hey. Stop, I don't want your money. Are you new?"

I stopped, putting on my backpack, "Uh, yes..."

"Okay, cool. See you around?"

"Uh, sure. Whatever-your-name-is."

"Jameson Hawthorne."

"Hm, that rings a bell."

"I'm sure it does, Thornsbury."
How the fuck does he know my last name?!
He sprinted away and left me with his cracked phone. I confusedly gave it a look and hid it in my pocket as I realised I have class soon.

"Rhodes Issac."

"Present."

"Schulz Nina."

"Here."

"Sallington Frederick."

"Present."

"Thornsbury Aurora."

"Present."
The class became silent and without warning everyone's eyes were directed to me, even Mr Bosim glanced up at me before he cleared his throat.

"Everyone, we have a new student. Welcome Aurora Thornsbury."
Everyone said small 'hi's' as I sat there, smiling at them awkwardly. We had precalculus, I spun my head around as I had a feeling someone was staring at me. When I turned, I discovered that not only one, but three people were staring at me. A dark skinned boy with light brown eyes and two girls, a redhead and a brunette. They suddenly avoided my eyes, examining random objects in the classroom. What the hell? I thought, scoffing to myself.

...

3.50 pm. I just finished french and was going to ride back home when a familiar girl stood right in my sight. It was the one from Mr Bosim's class, who was staring at me along with a pair.

"Hey, you're the new girl, right?"

"Mhm. You're in Mr Bosim's class?"

"Yeah, me and my friends wanted to invite you to our party."

"Okay, I'll be there."

"Fun!"
She pulled out a small notebook from her blazer and a black pen. Her hand wrote the address in a hurry, she ripped the paper out carefully and passed it to me. I thanked her and started to ride home. When I arrived at home, I examined the paper.
