My shoulder was 97% healed. I was back at school - mostly because my ma forced me to, but also because i was getting bored at school.
"Hey, Thornsbury, you alright?" Xander asked me and I pulled a puzzled face.
"Uh, yep, why wouldn't I be?" I knew he knew. I wished he didn't.
"You... got shot, that's very serious and you are surprisingly calm."
"I don't like being nervous all the time, you git," i scoffed, slamming my wooden locker and storming off to science. I forgot Xander shared science with me.
"You don't sound okay, you can always talk to me."
"I don't feel like talking, we need to study."
"You need tutoring, you mean?" he corrected and I rolled my eyes. God, why is everyone so annoying today?
"Yes. Yes, I need tutoring. You agreed, so stop being such a bitch about it."
"I'm not. You just-"
"I what? Hm? I got shot? I am being bitchy?" I snapped at him, turning away to beeline straight to the bathroom.
