Amber
I wake up the next morning with my reading glasses on the side of my face and Fallon at the foot of my bed. "OK so, I thought maybe you would spend the day with me, like the whole day as one big date, I told the rest of the pack not to bother us," Fallon says sheppishly.
"Oh, um, sure yeah," I tell him.
"OK, I'm glad you said that, well first I made you breakfast," he says bringing out a platter of nutella pancakes, coffee with 2 creams and 4 sugars, sausage, eggs, and strawberries and whipped cream. "This looks great, thank you," i tell him gushing over the food, all my favorites on one plate, there was also two books on the side of the tray, it was "If He Had Been With Me" I've been dying to read the book.
So, for the rest of the morning we read the whole book and squirted whipped cream in each other's mouth. Then I changed into a bandana crop top and light jeans. "OK, so here's your first card, I thought we would go on a scavenger hunt," he suggested. I squeal and grab the card I love scavenger hunts.
The first card said something about a stable. "The only stable around here is a horse stable," I tell him. "Well, you know how in the 7th grade you always wanted to learn how to ride horses, I thought we'd give it a shot, how does that sound?" he asks me. I answer his question with a hug and a head nod.
------
We pull up to Joe's Horse Stable and a small plump man with hats and boots is waiting out by the stable gates. Fallon opens his side of the car door and comes around to my side and opens my door and picks me up out of the seat and throws me over his shoulder like a sack of potatoes!
He walks us over to the gates and sets me down carefully. Fallon goes over to the man and whispers in his ear. "Ah, I see, this is her, mhm, OK, young lady, I'm Joe and today I'm going to teach you how to ride a horse, the horses you guys will be using are in the pasture, so if you'll follow me," Joe said shaking my hand.
We follow Joe to a big green grass area. There are two horses munching on grass, one horse is a midnight black while the other is a light brown one. "OK so the light brown one is Fergie and the midnight one is Cyra," Joe tells us.
I chose Fergie and Fallon chose Cyra. Joe taught us how to mount the horse and get off the horse and we got used to that, and none of us fell in the mud. He taught us how to find our balance, hold the reins properly, get the horse moving, walk, stop, gallop, trot, and run.
"OK I hoped you guys enjoyed that lesson, this is for, you Amber," Joe said handing me a purple card.
Joe left and Fallon came over and stood by me. The only thing on the card was Degrassi's Market. "HOLY SHIT! YOU DIDN'T THAT'S THE BEST RATED MARKET AND YOU HAVE TO MAKE A RESERVATION TO EVEN GET INTO THE MARKET!" I cry out. "Chill, princess, are you ready to go," he says using his finger to close my mouth. I nod my head and he picks me up and walks us to the car. "You know I can walk, correct?" I ask him. "I know, but I like having you in my arms, princessa," he whispers in my ear.
-----
The market was so fun we made pottery, tried exotic foods, made paints out of berries, he bought me an amber crystal, and now we're posing for a caricature for a boy named Charles. "OK, y'all are done and um, a little birdie told me that y'all would stop by, so um, I think this belongs to you Amber," Charles tells me handing me a white card with paint splatters on it.
I thank him and grab the card, Fallon throws me over his shoulder again and walks us to the truck, it was a long walk so I took the time to read the card. Madame Zule's Dance Class. "Fallon, I have two left feet," I tell him.
