INT. DAVIS HOUSE- FLASH BACK

Kent wakes up with a huge smile on his face and runs downstairs.

TONY- Happy Birthday Master Davis.

YOUNG KENT- Thanks Tony!

Kent runs into the kitchen. Garret is pouring a energy drink.

YOUNG KENT-Dad what time is my party?

GARRET- party?

Kent smiles.

YOUNG KENT- Yeah...my Harry Potter party.

GARRET- Kid we're going out to Arizona, remember you have that basketball tournament?

Kent face drops.

YOUNG KENT- (soft) I thought I could have my party before I leave.

GARRET- We can stop by a restaurant when we get there and get some food.

YOUNG KENT-I want a real party Dad. And I want grandma and grandpa to come and Uncle Jimmy and kids from the team.

GARRET- birthday or championship. Which is more important.

YOUNG KENT- right now my birthday.

GARRET- this is why you need me...you just don't get it. The sacrifices you're making now will pay off later.

Kent looks at him.

GARRET- now come on go get dressed and pack. We gotta get to the airport.

YOUNG KENT- I hate you...I'm never gonna play basketball again!

GARRET- Yes you will now go get your stuff!

Kent runs upstairs to his room and slams the door.

YOUNG KENT- When I get older I'm gonna have my own party and I'm gonna do whatever I want...I don't need him. I don't need anybody.

Kent walks over to his window and looks out of it and it's two younger boys playing outside. You can tell they're brother.

YOUNG KENT- I wish I had somebody though.

INT. DAVIS HOUSE KENTS ROOM - CURRENT TIME

Kent is asleep and Taylor looks at the time on her phone reading midnight. She begins to kiss Kent all over his face.

TAYLOR- Happy Birthday my love.

Kent smiles.

KENT- Thank you.

TAYLOR- I planned on telling you eighteen reasons why I love you.

She kisses his cheek.

TAYLOR- One Your smile and laugh.

She kisses other cheek.

TAYLOR- Two They way you make my terrible day amazing with just the sight of your face.
