TAYLOR-(V.O) LJ was the first boy I ever had a crush on. It was so innocent you know those type of crushes when you're a kid and you can't stop smiling, now I couldn't tell you three things I liked about him besides us dancing together. When I got home that night Ashley went on with his lecture about how boys can be a distraction blah blah it was so dramatic but I guess I kinda get her Im not sure how I would react the first time Ava's tells me she likes a boy, hopefully I make her feel comfortable though.
EXT. FRONT OF TAYLORS HOUSE - FLASHBACK

TAYLOR-(V.O) Justin was the first boy I ever liked. He made me feel pretty and he was what I thought a boyfriend should be well at thirteen at least. He was cute we had the same friends and we liked the same stuff and he always wanted to hang out even go on little dates. It was cute until it was bad and even then I thought it was okay because I thought that's the way things should be. Seeing how my parents were with each other and seeing Ashley always in and out of relationships I thought that was the way to be. I thought we would be together for the rest of high school nothing past that though. My sister gave me the most disturbing "talk" the first time she saw us kiss. It made me so uncomfortable I broke up with him a for a few days.
INT. LYVIEW MAIN OFFICE - FLASHBACK
Taylor seeing Kent for the first time.
TAYLOR-(V.O) Kent...Kent is the first boy I ever loved. I never saw him coming but he's everything I needed. He just, he makes me feel so full like anything is possible when he looks at me. Even on the not so good days, I never lose that feeling and if you ask me why I love him I'll probably never run out of reasons. I wouldn't give him up for anything or anyone.
EXT. CARTER ARTS UNIVERSITY CAMPUS - DAY
Kent Morgan Neal Tavon Taylor and Zhuri arrive on campus, all of them taking it in.
MORGAN-T I get your plan with this trip but ummm Atlanta in Decemberis not-
TAYLOR-hot at all.
NEAL-Look it's not that bad it's not like we're gonna be outside anyway...we can find stuff to do indoors.
TAVON- but if we wanna get a college experience wouldn't that mean be walking around the campus too?
ZHURI- We can always visit more schools later on.
KENT- and this trip is about more than just checking out the campus.
They all look at Taylor.
TAVON- (awkward) oh yeah, sorry T.
TAYLOR-(V.O) I've been working on my article to post about Christopher....I know once I hit publish it's gonna change everything....I'm not sure if I'm ready for it.
TAYLOR- Look we're here for my mind to be off of the article and for us to just see what it's like to attend an hbcu...it does suck that it's kinda cold but I hope we all make the best of it.
Morgan grabs her hand and Zhuri puts her arm around her.
ZHURI- We Will.
MORGAN- now let's go see that cute cousin of yours.
NEAL- seriously?
MORGAN- did that annoy you?
NEAL- Yes.
