Chapter 6 Percy tries to become a detective

Author's note

Hi everyone sorry for the long wait for this chapter but depression and my home situation are extremely overwhelming but I will try my best to squeeze out a chapter every week but don't be mad if I can't. 

I have not forgotten this book and I enjoy writing it and I hope it is also fun to read and please let me know what you think of this book and if I should / can change anything        now on with the story

Y/N POV 

When the fog clears I see Percy looking at me with wide eyes. I make a bow and walk back to my place between Maria and Elisabeth

Percy's pov 

after I asked Luke a question everyone starts this song telling about their godly parents. At one point this girl I think I sawe arlier by lake walks down to the middle of the Arena. I see her raise her hands and wonder what she is going to do. I'm about to ask Luke but he just tells me to watch. 

I see a big ball of water coming towards the arena. While I listen to the song I'm wondering who this girl's godly parent is, I saw her at a table with three other girls during dinner. But I didn't have the chance to ask Luke about them. 

I'm really curious and I have this feeling like I recognize her, and I feel connected to her. It's weird I've never felt this way before it's like, I know this girl but I don't know from where or when. I also realized she looks a lot like me but I brushed it off. 

Luke asked me about my parent of course didn't understand so I talked about my mother. Everyone began laughing but not in a mean way, they asked me about my godly parent and I said it didn't know. Luke said that it was alright and that a lot of half-bloods never knew there godly parent and that I just needed to give it a try. 

So I just sing something. towards the end I notice the girl Gathering the water into a big ball, sphere actually I wonder what she was going to do. But then this sphere exploded and it started to rain. But it was a weird kind of rain because we didn't get wet from the rain. But what surprised me the most was how she knew how to make the light reflect in the rain/fog perfectly to create this beautiful rainbow. 

I looked in awe at the rainbow. When all the water was gone I looked at the girl again I smiled she looked back at me and smiled before heading back to her place on the tribune to talk to her friend sagain. 

I turned to Luke to ask yet another question. I ask Luke ''who is her godly parent she didn't sing in the song'' Luke looked at me ''who do you think it is'' 

I thought back at the lessons in Greek mythology immediately the name Poseidon came into my head ''Poseidon'' I asked 

Luke grinned ''yes'' he said ''she is the only child of Poseidon we have here at camp half-blood'' I thought ''but didn't they sworn an oath that they never would have children again?'' I asked hesitantly. Luke looked at me''yeah'' he said ''but sometimes God's don't live up to their oaths'' he said Grinning at the three girls (y/n Maria and Elisabeth) 

I hesitantly asked ''but do you know her name'' ''of course I do'' Luke exclaimed ''everyone knows eachother here'' 

''well what is it'' I asked impatiently ''her name is y/n Jones but that's not her real last name she was adopted as a baby so it's the name of her adopted family she never truly new her biological mother'' 

''oh so she was an orphan'' I asked

''yes is something wrong with that'' Luke said a little bit aggressive ''ofcourse not'' I said quickly ''why would there be something wrong with an orphan'' Luke let out a deep breath ''sorry it's just I am really overprotective of her like a lot she is like a sister to me''

So This is a short chapter I think I'm going to make more of these short chapters maybe not I'm not sure yet
