When y/n came to the camp, Thalia had just been killed by a cyclops. y/n was very shocked, after all she was only a young girl of 6 and she had been best friends with Thalia. she was shown around by one of the camp elder.

Later when the campfire was over y/n quickly sneaks away to the canoe lake. she dove into the water and stayed there for a while.

After about half an hour Annabeth came to the Lake, she dangled her feet in the Lake and said: I knew you were here, y/n came up to the surface, You always seek the water Annabeth said, that helps me calm down and think y/n said.

y.n climbed onto the dock and sat down next to Annabeth. I miss Thalia said Annabeth  ''me too'' said y/n, she put an arm on Annabeth's shoulder, "she died to save us" she said.

Yes I know that said Annabeth but still I miss her y/n remained silent for a while.

Hey here you are said a voice from behind it was Luke we need to go to bed he said they walked to the hermes cabin together.

The next morning they had sword fighting lessons. Annabeth Luke and y/n walked to the arena together. They stood in line And all three got a sword that y/n didn't feel comfortable in her hand so she asked if she could use her own sword, the sword fighting instructor didn't mind.

They were split into pairs y/n was assigned to a girl who was about 4 years older than her and seemed very full of herself

I'll take it easy she said to y/n no need responded y/n back do you think you can handle me the girl responded

Yes, with ease y/n said, yeah right, a rookie like you thinks she can handle me.

Annabeth and Luke look at each other with a knowing look

Come fight then the girl said bet I'll have you down in a minute.

Okay come on said y/n They faced each other the instructor blew his whistle the girl ran over to y/n with her sword raised at the last moment y/n took a step aside the girl fell face down in the sand she scrambled to her feet

Then they faced each other again the girl attacked but y/n parried her and they started fighting the girl kept attacking and y/n kept dodging after a few minutes the girl said ''don't be such a wimp fight back'' or aren't you strong enough''.

Anabeth and Luke looked at each other with a look like: she's dead.

''Oh'' yn said ''I thought we were just warming up but if you want to start fighting that's fine with me''.

And the girl attacked y/n. y/n jumped up and kicked the girl's back as she jumped the girl turned around but y/n darted forward and knocked her to the ground she took her sword from her and held the swords crossed against the girl's throat.

''Who is the rookie now?'' y/n asked her in a teasing voice. Then y/n realized that everyone was silent she looked up everyone stood in shock watching y/n hold the girl to the ground,

as if y/n only now realized that she still held the swords to the girl's throat she took them away and helped the girl to her feet who gave a playful punch to y/n's shoulder

''I'm y/n''. y/n said as she handed back Clarisse's sword. Well y/n you and I might be friends she said and she walked away.

Later at capture the flag y/n had to stand guard at the lake. She was attacked by the Aris cabin. She made a huge wave that covered the Aris cabin with a layer of water and she then let the water that surrounded and covered the aris campers freeze and turn into solid ice resulting in them getting stuck.
