When I had said I wanted to go see the new Transformers movie with Ray I had not realized that meant I would suddenly get sucked into the real version of the movie!

One moment I was in the movie theater and the lights were dimming, the next moment I found myself in a cave, stepping out into the bright noisy light of a forest. And if you didn't think this day could get any weirder, well let me tell you, it did.

As I wandered now through the grassy green forest, I stared around at the jungle surrounding me.

My phone buzzed and pulling it out, I was shocked to see that it had somehow transformed into an old-fashioned flip phone. Pulling it open, I saw Alex had texted me.

Amy, where are you? R u okay?

Hastily I texted my brother back, though it took a few seconds on the tiny press button keyboard, the ancient phone head. How I missed my iPhone.

I'm fine-somehow stuck in a random forest though. Are you still at the movie theater?

There was a typing bubble rather than a ping in answer back.

No, I'm at a lab on Ellis Island, New York City. No idea how I got here either. What forest are you in?

He was at a lab on Ellis Island? I began typing back a reply when I pressed the wrong button. My phone began to ring, and I saw I had accidentally dialed Ray.

"Ray, where are you?" I asked worriedly.

"I was about to ask you the same thing!" She exclaimed over the phone system. "One moment you were there watching a movie with me, next moment you and your brother were gone!"

"The same thing happened to me!" I shouted. "And I just got off the phone from texting with Alex-he's at some scientific lab research center or something on Ellis Island."

"He is?" Ray sounded relieved. "Where are you?"

My phone abruptly beeped, and I saw I was losing bar signals fast. So I spoke hastily. "I am in some forest-jungle like pace. I-" My phone went to the last bar, "ahh!" I shrieked in frustration. Blast it, I wish there was cell service in this jungle!

I went to try and recall Ray but at that moment my phone chose to die.

"Shoot," I growled angrily, throwing my phone onto the ground. "Now how am I supposed to contact her?"

Abruptly there was rusting from the bushes. A shiver went down my spine and I tried to not give into the cold fear that was enveloping me. Suddenly a large yellowish cat jumped out of the bushes and knocked me onto the ground.

"Please don't eat me," I stammered, throwing my hands up to protect me against whatever cat this was. He was larger than a car and seemed to be strangely made of metal.

"Eat you? A human?" the cat pulled its paws off me in disgust. "I would never do such a thing!"

Hastily I dusted myself off and jumped to my feet. I began to back up when I suddenly slammed into something hard.

Whirling around I came face to face with a larger-than life metal ape!

"Ahh!" I screamed at the top of my lungs.

The ape seemed taken aback and stared with wide blue glass eyes at me. "Who are you?"

"Ahh!" I kept screaming, wishing I was dreaming.

I turned to run away but this time I ran into a humongous metal rhino! This day could not get any worse!

"Be  quiet human!" The ape's loud deep voice reverberated over the ground and at once I shut my mouth. I looked at him and he stared back at me. "We will not hurt you. I am Optimus Primal, and these are my friends–Cheetah and Rhinox."

"I'm Amy Matthews." I replied, eyes narrowed. Now I have another question. I had a thought, his name sounded just like Optimus Prime! "Are you a real ape? You all look-"

"That is because we are not a species of this planet," Primal responded patiently. "We are the guardians who came here to protect that which is good."

"Guardians?" My eyes widened. "If you don't come from here, where do you come from?"

"We fled here to escape the destruction of our own home years ago-," Primal explained. Then he frowned at me. "How did you end up here? No humans know of this hidden forest."

"I..." How was I supposed to explain? I had started watching a movie and somehow got sucked into another world?

My eyes were wide and as I looked around at the Maximals I realized something. They were the Maximals from the Official Trailer for Transformers Rise of the Beasts! That's why they looked so strange yet so familiar!

"You are here to stop the Predacons, aren't you?" I asked.

"Predacons?" Primal optics widened as he stared at me. "You know of them?"

Shoot, maybe I shouldn't have brought that up. Whatever story I was in I did not want to mess the storyline up, especially if I had actually somehow been sucked into the transformer movie. "Well," I shrugged, "I have heard about them-but not much, only speculation."

Suddenly Cheetor gave a loud growl which startled the daylights out of me. He turned and pointed with one paw at the skies which were quickly darkening with the nightfall. "Look!"

"What is it?" I asked, not seeing anything out of the ordinary.

"It's...a signal ... .from the key," Primal's voice gravely as he finally shook his head. "We must move the other key lest it fall into the wrong hands." he turned to go back into the forest.

"Um," I hastily spoke up. "Do you mind telling me the way back to New York? I'm kind of lost."

"New York?" Cheetah's eyes widened. "You are far from home young one."

I shrugged, "I know," I could not help the slight sniff I felt at the scariness of being in such a new place-so far from my own home.

Cheetor sighed. "Primal?"

The ape nodded. "She can accompany us. The other humans will be able to care for her."

My eyes widened. "Wait, there are other humans who know about you?"

"Yes," Primal nodded. I went to ask another question, but he held a hand up. "No more questions until we arrive. Time is of the essence."

My mind was whirling with questions-what is the key that seemed so important? Why did it have to be moved? What had they seen in the sky that I didn't?

"Climb on," Cheetor said, bending down in front of me.

"Uh, say what now?" I stared at him.

"Climb on my back," the metal cheetah repeated. "Unless you'd rather walk for miles?"
I shook my head, "Uh, in that case, I think I'll ride." He bent down a little further and I swung my leg over him as if on a horse-a very large horse.

Then Primal led the way and Cheetor was off at a pace so fast I barely had time to take in any of the scenery flying back.

"You having fun up there?" the friendly cheetah asked.

"Ha," My heart was hammering in terror, I clung onto his metal plates for dear life. "That's one way of putting it."
