Seeing that Ray was safe on the ground below, I gave a sigh of relief.
"Alex, I'm fine!" she yelled up. "Go help Elena and Noah!"
"Okay," I nodded and then turned back into the building. Apparently Scourge's two pets had decided to ignore me and instead go after the key. I watched them duck deeper into the building.
Hastily I ran into the building, ducking down the hall and scanning the area. Where was Elena and the other man, Ray called Noah?
"Elena!" I cupped my hands around my mouth.
There was only silence in reply.
I frowned thoughtfully. Where would I hide if two terrifying creatures were chasing me in an old building?
My gaze rested on an exit sign by a stairwell, aha!

I ran towards the stairs and rapidly descended them. Now I entered the main lobby. I was just in time to see Noah strike down one of Scourge's pet's that had just been about to attack Elena.
"You two, okay?" I called running over.
"Yeah," Elena nodded. Her eyes widened. "Watch out!"
Following her gaze, I whirled around to see the second of Scourge's pets jump down from the ceiling.
I jumped forward and picked up a statue from one of the tables. Turning, I threw it at the creature.
"Run!" I shouted. Noah grabbed Elena's hand and we all took off for the exit. The creature was not very far behind.
He scurried after us, growling.
I opened the door and Elena ran through. Noah and I followed. Just as the creature ran up I slammed the door in its face and held it shut.
Noah held the second door in place and we both strained against the metal creatures' angry shoving.
"Here!' Elena hastily tied a piece of cloth around the two door handles, knotting it tightly.
"Thanks," Noah exhaled. He and I stepped back. The creature banged against the door, but it held.
We did not wait around to see how long it would hold. The three of us ran up the stairs and dashed out the front door.
Outside we were met by a horrifying sight. A large familiar red and blue robot was locked in battle with Scourge.
Optimus Prime! I thought in shock. My surprise grew more when I recognized Arcee dueling with another Predacon while Mirage shot at one from the sky.
"Noah!" Optimus called to the young man. "Get out of here!"
Tightening his grip on the crystal spiral in his hands, Noah nodded. We all began dashing away from the battlefield and towards the parking lot where Elena's car was parked.
