POV: Yours
Destination: Cafeteria
"God you are so lucky!" Natalie said as she drank from her water, "To have someone that obsessed with you." "Oh please! You'll find someone." "Please I never have luck with people and you know that." she said as she put her drink down.
"So are you gonna ask him out?" she asked as she took out her mirror. "I mean- maybe I should give it time, no?" I questioned, "I mean, careful, what are you waiting for anyways? You've known him for a while!" "Well I know him but I wanna know him MORE, ya know?"
She nodded, "That is what relationships are for." she reminded me as we both felt a presence and looked up, seeing Gwen. She saw me and stopped in her tracks, and walked away.
"What is she so scared about?" Nat asked as she fixed her lip liner. "Don't know, ever since Miles walked in on us, she hasn't- well- she doesn't wanna even look at me." I said as I slumped down my seat.
"Hey there beautiful." Miles said as he sat in front of me. "Right on time, catch you later Miles." Natalie said as she closed her compact and stood up getting ready to leave.
"Wait, where you going?" I asked, she turned around, "Have something to handle, don't make out while I'm gone." she said before leaving. "We're not gonna- ugh." I said as I rolled my eyes.
"What's up with you?" he asked sincerely, "Gwen isn't speaking to me, that's all." I said. "That's weird, did you two fight?" "No actually, we never fought so it's weird." Miles frowned, "Huh, that is weird." he said as he took out his sketch book.
"Drew you something!" I smiled as I saw a picture of me with a bunch of roses surrounding me with thorns.
THIRD PERSON POV
Destination: Locker room
Gwen sighed as she stared at herself through her mirror in her locked, she shut her locker's door and jumped back as Natalie leaned on the locker.
"Hey- don't think I why you hate me-" "Highly doubt that." the girl with brown hair replied as she moved her curls out of her face, "Do you want Miles or something?" she asked the blonde girl.
"Wait- is this what this is about?" Gwen said as she raised her eyebrow, "God no! I don't even want him like that. So you can stop glaring at me in the hallways like you always do." Gwen said as she tried walking away, "So why do you keep acting weird with Y/n?" Natalie instigated, "Aren't you supposed to be her friend?" "I am!" "Then act like it." Natalie said as she walked past Gwen, but the blonde girl was upset now, she grabbed the brunettes wrist and pushed her to the wall, "YOU don't get to judge me, you don't even know what is going on in my life, ever since you ghosted me!"
Natalie chuckled "For someone who always hangs out with two people and lost those two, I think I do get to judge you! And also I had my reasons! Anyways, You don't just miraculously lose people over nothing." Gwen groaned and glared at the brunette standing in front of her.
"I'm gay." she confessed. Natalie rolled her eyes, '"Congrats." she said sarcastically, "I like Y/n too." Natalie's eyes widened at Gwen's confession. "Oh- shit, wow you are screwed!" Natalie said as she chuckled. Gwen scoffed and sat in the floor, "Okay look, I get it." "DO YOU? Bet you don't." Gwen said as she glared at the brunette.
Natalie laughed as she sat in front of her former enemy, "Better than you might think, I used to be in love with my best friend too." Gwen rolled her eyes, "Wow how lucky of him." "No.. it was a she, and I thought she liked a guy who was also my friend." Natalie said as she put a strand of hair behind her ear.
Gwen's eyes widened, "You're kidding."
Natalie shook her head, "Wish I was sometimes."
"Well how did you, you know, get over her?" Gwen asked, "Don't know, we're not friends anymore." Natalie said as she looked at Gwen.
Gwen obliviously laughed, "So what do I do?" she asked her former best friend.
"Normally I'd say follow your heart, but it's not easy when your heart belongs to a possibly straight friend." "God I wish I was normal." Gwen said.
Natalie chuckled, "You and me both."
