Chapter 9: Class Representative
*****

You walked to the school at a brisk pace. You felt anew after a good night's sleep. When you approached the school's entrance gate, you froze on the sidewalk. On the opposite side, there he was.

Bakugo.

You immediately had the urge to pick a fight when you noticed a large crowd of reporters trying to interview students.

"What the..." your words faded from distraction. Bakugo turned his head in the direction you were looking. He was unusually quiet and his expression suddenly bore that of annoyance. "Shit." you cursed.

You had dealt with reporters before. Your parents taught you to ignore them and say nothing. "Bakugo, those reporters obviously want something. It's best we keep our mouths shut, they'll use anything and twist it for money." you explained. He scoffed.

"Yeah, whatever. Don't tell me what to do." he said and walked ahead of you.

"W-wait!" You ran to catch up with him, following close behind.

"What can you tell us about All-Might working at U.A. High?" one reporter asked.

"Is he helping your education at all?" another one.

There were too many. You looked at Bakugo, he was losing his cool as you two attempted to make your way into the school. "Stop." he demanded.

"Hey, aren't you that kid who was caught by a villain a few months ago?" Caught by a villain? You read Bakugo's increasingly angry face. Oh no.

He raised his fist aggressively and yelled, "What did you just say?"

"Damnit, Bakugo, shut up!" you said and pushed him as hard as you could through the gate detector that the reporters couldn't pass. He didn't go easy, you had both hands on his chest pushing him backwards toward the school. You involuntarily felt his emotions, which was pissing you off as well.

The second you were on school grounds, you noticed Mr. Aizawa standing a few feet away from you two with a very confused look on his face. Well, as confused as his face could get. You pointed to the reporters behind you without saying a word. He glanced over with a heavy sigh, realizing it was his job to get rid of them.

"What'd you do that for!? I was telling them off!" Bakugo then turned his anger on you.

You scoffed and rolled your eyes. "Oh, really? How would the world feel knowing they left a psychopath in the best school of Japan?"

"Who cares what they think, I can handle them myself!" he retorted, making you groan.

You shook your head at him. "Do you not care about your image? How are you going to become the top hero if nobody likes you?" you asked. Bakugo didn't look happy. Obviously.

"Who cares? I don't need anyone in order to become the Number One Hero!" he yelled and left inside the school.

Talking to him exhausted you. "Do you not know how to actually become the top hero?" He flipped you off without turning around. You could feel your eyes roll to the back of your head. What an idiot.

With a sudden, loud sound, giant metal walls slammed down on all the gates and walls of the school. You jumped backwards and squealed out of shock. "W-what was that?" You asked Mr. Aizawa, who was back inside the school grounds.

"They tried to pass the detector without a pass." he explained and shrugged. You sighed, feeling today was already going to be a long day.
