Bakugo glanced between you and Tokoyami, trying to determine which one of you had the last tag. Don't let figure it out! You immediately ran to him and threw a punch he easily dodged. While Tokoyami fled, you pointed a finger and shot an airburst at Bakugo from close range. He lost his footing but quickly recovered with an explosion. He shot himself passed you towards the running Tokoyami. With an outstretched palm, you stifled his explosions as best you could while chasing him, though with how long this fight had gone on and how much he had to be sweating, you were starting to lose effect.

Tokoyami used Dark Shadow to expertly weave through concrete structures and climb. When Bakugo tried to make a turn, you overpowered his explosion and caused him to completely miss his mark. Out of frustration, he shot himself straight up in the air, barely still in your range.

"Don't tell me you really didn't keep a tag for yourself? I didn't take you for a coward!" He mocked you from above. Suddenly, he stopped himself and landed on top a cement pillar. His gaze moved from Tokoyami further away to you on the ground. The silence allowed you to hear the cogs turning in his head.

Ah, fuck. He knows.

"You were using Bird-Brain as bait?!" He yelled and dove right for you. The keychain in your left hand suddenly felt inconvenient and heavy.

You laughed nervously while you prepared your stance. Bakugo could easily out speed you, so you stood no chance if you decided to run. You were just going to have to fight until the timer ran out.

"(L/n)!" Tokoyami called out from somewhere behind you. Unfortunately, Bakugo reached you first. A smoke-filled explosion in front of you obscured your vision. Bakugo instantly maneuvered above and grabbed a hold of your left arm. You allowed a single finger to let go of the keychain and shot an airburst at him. His grip never left yours and you were dragged in recoil with him. The two of you stumbled a few feet on the ground.

He managed to twist around and stand above you while holding your wrist in a lock behind your back. He pushed down on your arm in his grip and made you yell out in pain. You desperately held onto the metal ring and its tag as it dug into your palm. "Give it up-" was all he could say before Tokoyami knocked him off of you. Bakugo's feet slid across the floor until he came to stop. You raised yourself to one knee and caught your breath. He almost had you. What the hell was that about? He doesn't want me to get hurt but if it's from him, it's fine? Fucking Hypocrite!

You wouldn't be able to fight Bakugo off alone, he proved that in just a few short seconds. But now that Tokoyami was here, maybe you stood a chance.

"(L/n), I'm not sure if you remember, but Bakugo and I fought during the Sports Festival Tournament. I didn't a chance, then." Tokoyami confessed.

You shook your head. "I think we've all gotten a little bit stronger since then. Besides, you didn't have me there," you said with a lopsided smirk. Tokoyami was forced to agree with you. Bakugo grinned like a madman. You had to admit, this fight was making your heart race.

"Don't think just because there's two of you that you'll win. You're still below me!" Bakugo said and darted in between you and Tokoyami. He crossed his arms just as he closed in and set off two large explosions. "DIE! DIE! DIE!" Once again, your vision was filled with black smoke. You coughed your way through and held out your hand until you reached Tokoyami. Pain. Confusion. Determination. As soon as you grabbed his arm, he led you to the side. Bakugo did this same tactic to get you away from Shoji, there was no way in hell you were going to fall for it again.

You decided in the back of your mind that the whole "Die-die-die" thing needed to addressed. You surprisingly didn't like being on the other end of it.

As soon as you stepped out of the smoke, you were barraged again. The sounds started up a ringing that hurt your ears and taking an explosion point-blank was aching your arms that guarded your face. It didn't hurt nearly as much as you thought it would, but he had the ability to change how much damage he did.
