You entered the quiet infirmary. After greeting recovery girl, you walked next to the beds. Bakugo and Midoriya both laid sleeping. Even though you felt like your exam against Aizawa took forever, your team was the first to gain a win and you had made it back in time to watch the end of the two boys' match. Midoriya ended up having to drag an unconscious Bakugo through the escape line. Both had been beaten quite bad by All-Might, but what else would you expect from the Number One Hero?

The end of the day was nearing, and with all the exams finished, your class had the rest of the time free until the bell. You decided to visit the pair in front of you, but you didn't expect them both to be asleep. Boredom hit you immediately until you approached Bakugo's side. His face was peaceful, the softest you've ever seen. Both of them were still in their hero costume's but you had already changed out of yours long ago. Even if a small part of you was slightly concerned for his well-being, you knew he was strong enough to handle it.

His sleeping form intrigued you. You didn't realize he could be so relaxed. Did you think he'd also be angry in his sleep? The thought amused you. You watched carefully as Recovery Girl exited the room momentarily. He's sleeping, what's he gonna do, stop me?

You placed your hand on Bakugo's arm. Feeling Check came back empty. He must not have been dreaming, oh well. With a sigh, you removed your hand. A pair of green eyes met yours and Midoriya stared, confused. The two of you were silent as he attempted to process your odd action as he didn't have the context. Of course it would be weird for you to randomly touch Bakugo while he's asleep! The voice in your head screamed, shitshitshitshitshitshit. 

"That didn't happen." Was all you could think to say as you stared down the, very bewildered, boy. 

Midoriya awkwardly laughed while he nodded and sat up. He paused and his face grew serious. "(L/n), you..." he looked down, searching for the right words. "Despite all the times you two argue, you... care for Kacchan, don't you?" 

Your eyes narrowed at Midoriya. He was very obviously trying to avoid saying what you thought he was trying to avoid saying. You really didn't like where he was going with this. "Care is a very strong word." 

His head tilted to side as he was forced to agree with you. "What I really want to ask is, why?"

You scoffed and crossed your arms. Midoriya was prying in ways you didn't like. "What makes you say I do, at all?"

"Well, you're at his bedside, not mine." he said. 

You froze while your cheeks burned. Words left you as you tried to think of something to say. You felt like your brain fried. 

The door to the infirmary slammed open, making you jump. You quickly turned around to see Kirishima had entered the room with Iida behind him. 

"(L/n), so this is where you went!" he smiled as he walked to your side. 

"We wanted to have a quick visit before school ends for the day, it seems we weren't the only ones." Iida explained as he approached you. "Oh, Midoriya, you're awake!" 

Midoriya went from staring at your quiet form to answering Iida who stood by his bed and said, "Yeah, I've only been up for a bit. (L/n) has been keeping me company." You lightly coughed into your fist and looked to the side.

"Huh, is Bakugo still sleeping?" Kirishima rested his hands on his side before he continued, "I wish I could've seen your guys' fight with All-Might. You even landed a win!" The green boy thanked him before chatting with Iida, asking about how everyone else was doing. Kirishima returned his attention to Bakugo. "You know, this is the calmest I've ever seen him." he said and laughed at the sleeping boy's face. You nodded.
