The Owl House one shots (Mainly Hunter)

For addition to the story I'm gonna have Hunter stay at The Owl House because Darius told him to, only to keep him safe though.

So, you said you want more ideas ... so here they are (and always remember, if you don't want to write an idea or just don't have the motivation for that thats totally fine)
So, how about a one shot were Luz has a nightmare and Eda and King comfort her. It would take place after the episode "hollow minds" and the nightmare would be about what Luz saw in the emperors mind
Let's get on to the story

Luz sat up in a cold sweat again. This seemed to be the third time in just a couple a days that the same thing played on repeat, the emperors mind, Hunter learning the truth. She felt really bad about getting Hunter into that but he did learn the truth for himself finally. But not in the way Luz hoped for.

Luz got up off the cold floor and realised what she had saw in her nightmare. Belos being Philip and her helping him meet the Collector. The guilt came back and she realised that she helped start the day of unity, none of this would've happened if she just stayed put and didn't go into the time pool. She was trying to keep her sobs in as she went into the kitchen for something to drink.

"Oh you're up." She turned and saw Hunter in the kitchen as well, his eyes looking at Flapjack then returning to Luz. "Say, it's looks like you've been.. Crying?"

Immediately, Eda came down the stairs with King on her shoulder and into the kitchen. "Say what about my kid?" She looked frantically at Hunter and he just sat there shocked.

"Were you two eavesdropping onto our conversation?" Luz acted dramatically as she always has but something was missing a little. Her voice didn't sound broken, it's that her movements were way off from before.

"Maybe, maybe not, doesn't matter." King climbed up onto Luz's head and dropped into her hood. "What does matter is why you've been crying."

"Just because Hunter said it looks like I've been crying, it doesn't always mean I've been crying. Humans are like that.."

"She's not wrong, humans work different than us witches. Humans can rub their eyes and then they become red underneath, or something could have gotten into their eye- sorry, you probably don't wanna hear that right now." Hunter put his head down and sighed.

"It's fine kid, but you should tell us what's bothering you two." Luz and Hunter exchanges looks before Luz started to mentally break.

"Im sorry, none of this, and I mean none of this would happen if I didn't go into the time pools. I helped Belos meet the Collector!" Luz hugged Eda and then she realised what the whole thing was.

"Belos is Philip?!" Eda asked, but more like exclaimed.

"He's a Witch Hunter, and if it wasn't for me, day on unity would have never happened.. I'm sorry, I'm the reason you're in this mess!"

"No, no don't say that. Believe it or not I've become stronger with you around." Eda said, wrapping her arms around Luz.

"Yeah! Luz you've helped us out so much it's like you're a Clawthorne yourself. You're like a big sister to me."

"Kinggg, that's making me emotional, you too Eda." Luz wiped away some of her tears but they kept coming.

"You get over here too." Flapjack nudged Hunter over to the group and Eda put her arm around him as well. "And remember-"

"Us weirdos have to stick together. And Hunter we all know you're a weirdo as well." Luz finished, Hunter was about to make a remark but then Eda ruffled his hair.

"You kids still need to tell us what happened." Eda saw the uneasy looks on both Hunter and Luz's face. "You don't have to right at this moment but you need to tell us what exactly happened at some point."

"You're right.. I'll tell you when I don't feel like breaking down." Luz squeezed Eda, King, and Hunter tighter then let go of them. "But for now we all need rest. That includes you too Hunter."

"Well there's nothing you can do to make me-"

"I can call Raine right now and have him get Darius."

"Okay.. Never mind.."

Luz giggled slightly and started to head up the stairs. "Are you gonna stay with me tonight?" King nodded his head and Luz continued up the stairs and into her room.

"If anything happens, you know I'll be right here." King spoke as Luz laid down.

"Right back at you." And with that, Luz fell back asleep.
