Five pulled up at Griddy's as the couple went inside and sat down on the stools. Five rung the bell impatiently, only for Lilith to grab it and throw it at the end of the table so he couldn't reach it. A man walked in as he sat next to Five.
"Sorry sink was clogged, so what'll it be?" The lady in pink uniform asked as Lilith simply looked at her name tag, 'Agnes'.
"Uh, give me a chocolate eclair." The man ordered
"Mm-hmm sure. Can I get the kids a glass of milk or something?" She asked as Lilith and Five simply scoffed.
"This kid wants coffee, black." Five ordered.
"I would like three espresso shots please?" Lilith asked as Agnes chuckled a bit and turned to the man, "Cute kids." The man was confused as Agnes turned to the couple, only for Five to give her a fake smile as Lilith placed her elbow on the counter, her head on her hand as she gave a fake smile.
She realized they weren't playing as she left to get the food and drinks. Lilith dropped her smile as she left, playing with her sleeves. "Don't remember this place being such a shithole. We used to come here as kids. Used to sneak out with our brothers and sisters and eat donuts till we puked."
"And then we raced each other finishing up our milkshakes, trying to beat each other's time." Lilith added as they smiled at each other before turning to the man, "Simpler times huh?"
"Erm I suppose." He said a little confused. Agnes came back with the orders as she gave Five his coffee and the man his eclair. She then placed Lilith's espresso's down as the girl smiled giddily.
"I got theirs." The man said, handing her the money.
"Thanks." Five said as Lilith nodding as she downed her shot. She noticed his uniform and nudged Five, pointing it out.
'Ishmael's towing'
"You must know your way around the city." Five added referring to the guys uniform.
"I hope so. I've been driving it for 20 years."
"Good, we need an address."
The man gave them the address as he left, Lilith downing her other shot. Five put the paper in his pockets as Lilith looked back, sensing other people, men in black with guns. She nudged Five as he got the message when he saw the reflection on the bell.
"Hmm. That was fast. Thought we'd have more time before they found us." Five said.
"Yeah, but I guess not." Lilith added.
"Okay, so let's all be professional about this, yeah? On your feet and come with us. They want to talk."
