You was about 7 am when you woke up, hence your alarm. You groaned, knowing it was a big day on set for everyone. A group date with everyone's characters, how pleasant. You would've enjoyed it a lot more, if you weren't so upset with Jack. You do your daily routine that you had before work, seeing you had a text from Mason.

Mason: "Hey, open the door."

Huh? That's so random. No reason why? There wasn't even a knock. You just shrugged, thinking it was just Mason being his normal, weird, goofy self. "Mason, you know you can just wal-" You cut yourself off, seeing not Mason in front of you, but a bouquet of flowers with Jack behind them. "Jack? What are you doing here, I thought it was Mason. What is going on?" You asked, not grabbing the flowers, not exactly sure if they were even for you. "I didn't think you would answer the door if I told you too or if I knocked and you look through the peep hole and saw it was me, so I asked Mason to text you." He said nervously, as he looked down at the floor.

"Well, that was smart of you. Is this your plan to talk to me that Mason mentioned last night?" He pushed the flowers towards you. "Yeah. I wanted to talk, please? These are for you." You can tell that he was really upset. You grabbed the flowers before stepping to the side, letting him walk in. "Yeah, come in." He let out air that you didn't know he was holding, giving you a small smile before walking in. "Thank you. I just really really want to talk to you. And explain what happened the other night." He sat down, rubbing his hands together, avoiding eye contact.

"Good idea. Go on." You walked to your kitchen, looking for the vase you saw when you were settling in, exploring your hotel. "Right. I first wanted to say that I am so sorry. I really didn't want to leave you, and I am sorry for leaving you so suddenly. I wasn't expecting anything like that to happen." You stayed silent, not knowing what to think. He took your silence as the time to go on. "Jenna got some news about one of her close friends being in an accident. She can't fly out and see her, since you know, the movie. So she called me, asking me to come over so she can have someone with her, comfort her." You still haven't said anything, as you walked back into the living room, placing your now filled vase of water, and your flowers on the table in front of him.

"Look, I'm not upset, well not as much anymore. You were just being there for a friend. But, I do wish you stuck to your promise and called me that night. It sucks to have your date bail on you without even explaining why. Plus the conversation with the waitress did not help. It's not everyday that you have to tell someone that your date dipped on you mid date." You chuckled as bit, as well did he, until it quickly stopped. "I'm sorry that I didn't call. Jenna asked me to stay over, so when she fell asleep, I did too." He kept looking down. You put a hand on his knee, making him finally turn towards you.

"Thank you for finally explaining it. I'm not mad. Just felt really shitty that night. But, you showed up, taking responsibility of your actions, and even gave me a beautiful bouquet of flowers." As much as it hurt you when he said he stayed at Jenna's, you didn't admit it, not wanting him to make him feel even worse than he already did. "I just don't want you to hate me. I don't know what I'd do if you do. Are we okay now?" You could hear the way his voice spoke with genuine words. "Yes we're okay. And I don't hate you, I don't think I ever could." You both smiled, before he gave you a hug.

"So does this mean we can do a do-over date?" He said date, not fake date. Not the time to think about that. "Are you gonna ditch me again?" "No." "Then yes, I would love too." You look down to see the necklace you bought him. Has he really never took it off? "I am so lucky to have you as a friend. No one is as cool as you, I swear." You giggled, letting go of the hug. "What can I say, I'm just amazing." You said sarcastically as you flipped your hair. "You truly are." You both just stared at each other, before you checked the time. "Fuck, we gotta go, we're gonna be late for work."
