"Damn... so did you break up with him?"

Solàna questioned.

She was sitting in her car, right in the parking lot just a few feet away from the school. She was currently on her lunch break, leaning up against the drivers seat with her phone in hand.

Solàna had it on speaker as she was talking to her best friend Crystal. Solàna had met Crystal almost a year ago, shortly after moving to Chicago. They used to work at a bar downtown, busting tables and serving drinks together. Solàna was very grateful to have met Crystal when she did, because Crystal seemed to know all the ins and outs of Chicago.

Crystal was born and raised here all her life. She knew pretty much everything and everyone. Plus, she was an amazing friend to Solàna.

"Well, of course I broke up with his ass. But I know he gon be right back on my body tonight once he sees me at this party."

Crystal snickered through the phone. Solàna couldn't help it but laugh. She had just finished eating some chic fil a, the empty bad just sitting on the passenger seat.

"Oh girl, that is not how that works. Once you leave a man, you are supposed to show him that you not sweatin him at all."

Solàna pointed.

"Bitch pleaseeee. My nigga can't live a day without me. He wouldn't be able to survive with any of these other bitches."

Crystal went on.

"Really? Cus he sure loves fucking on these other bitches."

Solàna slickly pointed. Crystal just sucked her teeth.

"But seriously Crystal, you deserve way better then him. He doesn't treat you right at all."

"Ughhh I know I know. I just... I'm still so very much in love with Polo. I don't believe in leaving a man until you are actually truly done with them for good; and I don't think I'm done with his ass just yet."
