*That same night*

Pressing his lips together, Dayvon found himself sitting in a chair leaned back with his arms crossed sternly against his chest. His locs sat neatly in his faced as he jerked his head a bit, moving some of them out the way.

Von didn't really expect to ever find himself back at the Chicago county jail during visiting hours, patiently waiting for Keyanta to come out. He wasn't sure what his plan was, but the only two people that Dayvon had on his mind right now were True and Solàna. They were the only reason as to why he was even back here once again.

Old Von would probably not care about anybody else's feelings besides himself; but with him being a father to True and also falling in love for the first time with Solàna, he knew he had to become a better person for the both of them. So if that meant he had to make things right with Keyanta, then he was willing to do just that.

The last time Dayvon spoke to Keyanta in person obviously went terrible. It had only seemed to have gotten worse ever since Solàna tried talking to her brother as well. Von already knew that Keyanta had been shutting Solàna out, practically refusing to communicate with her simply because she was with Von. He could care less about Keyanta hating him or not, but Von knew that he had to make things right for the sake of True, and for Solàna's peace of mind.

The sound of somebody coming just caught Von's attention as he looked up at the glass window in front of him. His eyes landed on Keyanta who was surprisingly making his way toward the booth. Von actually didn't think that Key would ever agree to speaking with him again.

Both the boys just made eye contact, slightly mugging each other at the same time. Von noticed how tired Key looked. He had slight bags under his eyes, and a few bruises on his fists and arms. It was clear that he wasn't having a great time inside the jail.
