Sunoo woke up to the gentle rays of morning sunlight filtering through the curtains. After a bout of illness the day before, he was relieved to find that he felt better today. Determined to make the most of the day, Sunoo embarked on his morning routine. He swung his legs out of bed and planted his feet on the soft carpet. After freshening up in the bathroom, Sunoo made his way to the kitchen. He enjoyed a nourishing breakfast of cereal and toast, providing the energy he needed to start his day on a positive note.
With his backpack securely slung over his shoulder, Sunoo went out, being greeted by the morning air. The radiant sun bathed everything in a golden glow, and Sunoo couldn't help but smile at the promising day ahead. He took a deep breath, relishing the cool breeze that awakened his spirit.
He didn't have to wait long before his bus came to take him to school. Sunoo sat down, as always, in the last row of the bus to be able to enjoy his rest undisturbed.

To be honest, I wasn't really sure if I should come to school today because I still have a little cold, but I just have to be there since we're having our announced history test today and I will never and I never have before missed one before.
I mean, in itself, it's not necessarily bad to repeat a test, but there is a small problem. Students who have to repeat a test simply have it 100 times harder than the others.
It's just that rewriters take a much harder test. Once I had to rewrite one and.. let's put it this way, it was my worst grade so far, and I don't want them to become worse.
Teachers probably believe that those students have more time to study so they can get a more difficult test. But let's be serious. That is total nonsense.
Back to the actual topic. I walked down the school corridors to my classroom and sat down on my seat.
I saw that Jungwon was already there, and I was only able to wave at him from my seat because the teacher came in the next second and immediately handed out the tests to us after the greeting.
I tried to concentrate on answering the questions and solving the tasks, and I have to say it worked relatively well. I didn't have any trouble with that at all.
That could possibly be because I learned a little yesterday anyway. I mean, being sick doesn't stop me from getting good grades, right?
But to be honest, I think even without learning very much, I would've done a good job since I'm not sleeping in class like other people..
When I finished my test, I handed it in and looked around the classroom for a bit. I noticed that everyone was still writing, so I was the first one.
I also noticed something else. There was one person who seemed like he also finished his test, but.. his sheet of paper was still on his desk. Even if I sat a little further away, I could tell that it was a blank sheet of paper. He hadn't written a single word on it.
I'm talking about Ni-ki. He just sat there and looked around the classroom, being obviously bored. Didn't he learn for the test? Was he trying to get a bad grade on purpose? Nah, nobody would do that..
While waiting for the other students to complete their test, I suddenly felt like I was being watched.
I knew immediately whose eyes were looking at me. Even though I regret it afterwards, I turned around and unintentionally looked Ni-ki straight in the eyes. While I didn't know whether to look
away or not, his lips already formed a creepy smile.
