Chapter 31

Muna's POV
I need to leave" he says,with a frown on his face," what happened " I try to adjust my dress," family issues" he plants a kiss on my forehead,my jaw is on the floor,family issues, it's strange how little I know about the person I am about to marry,I know he recently lost his dad of which he seemed unbothered about,I have never heard him talk about his mom,I think it's time I ask him a few questions,how do I do that,I call myself an Uber to take me home,assuming my normal position in cars,I let the air penetrate my skin to dry the make up a bit,I decide to remove the ring although guilt feels my heart I need to hide this for a while until I am ready to tell my sister about it. I thank the driver before opening the door to the house,shit, I got so caught up I forgot to pick up mom at the hospital,I give the doctor a call who confirms she was supposed to be discharged but her health deteriorated later in the day they decided to put her on observation,I sigh in relief,I thought she was stranded in a hospital,my sister is sleeping on moms bed holding a pillow,I watch her sleep for a while before heading to my room to change into something comfortable and get some rest.
Hastings POV
Chuma was getting on my nerves I had to silence her,I do not know how she did it but she discovered everything,I was not going to let her win,I have come so far to achieve my dreams this woman will not ruin it for me,my car was practically flying with speed,of course she had her suspicions and was questioning me if i gave her two more days to continue her investigation she would endanger my whole plan and my hard work would have been in vain,i parked my car minutes from her house,she texted me to meet her there because my god father was not around, I got her to get inside my car so we can have an honest conversation," this was not the plan Hastings,you are playing dirty" she said angrily,folding her hands,"I told you I was not interested" I rubbed my temples," bullshit,is it not funny how you did not act surprised when I told you about your godfathers daughter,how you suddenly fell for her even denying my offer of seducing her and taking her far from here,how Nicolas died,how your father died" she was right she was getting at something," ooh ain't you smart" I grinned ,I was beginning to see fear in her eyes,the most satisfying feeling in the world,flashbacks of Nicolas and my dad came back to me giving me the utmost pleasure,nothing compares to this pleasure not even Muna's body gliding against mine,my Muna who happens to be the most delicious pie of them all,do not get me wrong I have nothing against Muna,but my future must be secured,let me tell you a little story,my father sibeso and mweemba have known each other all their lives,my stupid father had nothing to his name all he did was follow mweemba like a lost puppy,due to his wife's inability to have children he treated me like a son,from a young age I went to good schools,wore expensive clothes and he even sent me abroad for my tertiary education,in his drunken state he always promised me I would inherit his property one day it was only fair after the healing I gave to his broken soul for not being a father,one day while we were on a trip,I overheard a conversation between him and my father concerning a child,I took it upon myself to find that child,i  was everywhere those two went,they treated me like their mate,I would be playing games on my computer while they discussed women,now you know where I get some of my charisma from, when my father suggested Nicolas I gathered the little information he was given,I discovered Muna's aunt in a village and paid them off to keep their mouth shut incase anyone came snooping for information,peasants and not keeping their end of the deal. They gave out a little information which helped Nicolas discover Muna,my godmother and father were not in good condition what better way to execute my plan than add a little flavor to her tasteless life,when I saw her birthmark I knew she was the one.all my leads led to her,the day I kissed her in her office,I pulled out some hair from her head,then pretended to check on my godfather at his mansion,there I stole his glass,for a sample of his dna,smart ain't I? I got the results days later,they were positive Muna Was my godfathers long lost child and the heiress to the entire mweemba fortune,I could not let that happen as crazy as it sounds that fortune belongs to me,yes it is all about the money,money! Money the rest is noise,do not get me wrong I love Muna but her money comes first,I admit at first it was all for my plan,but with the caresses,the sloppy kisses,her grip on my back when I enter her,her warm breath on my neck when I do things to her,her passionate marks on my back,her loud moans that motivate me to go,her eyes that speak to me without word from her mouth ,her laughter,her innocence,her naive spirit,her dedicated spirit to always do better,here's something that binds us forever,sacrifice,all her life she had sacrificed and so have I.
