"Is everyone here?!" Camille yells out in the Union Flagship's cargo hold.
The Union soldiers yell out with a roar for their Lady.
The Monster People screech and cheer, for they have a new family now.
Pariah...was not there, in fact. She was in the medicinal wing of the ship, watching over Dexter. He was still unconscious from his duel with Morphyte.
She puts her hand on his metallic face.
"He'll wake up soon." Captain Frost stands at the door.
"Why is everyone screaming outside?"
"The Lady is...making sure everyone is here.."
They stand there silently for a moment.
"May I ask you something personal, ma'am?" Frost asks.
"Sure."
"Who were you, before the Lady found you?"
"Nobody." Pariah answers immediately.
"Nobody?"
"Nobody. My only friend was a crazy robot....I guess things don't change though." She looks down at Dexter.
Frost smiles under his helmet. He's been with his Lady for as long as he could remember, literally. He walks out, while stuck in these thoughts.
Pariah stands up and sits down on a nearby chair, stretching her legs and arms out. She was tired, and closed her eyes to sleep.
After what felt like instantly, one of the Medics woke her up. Dexter had regained his consciousness.
She jumps up and to his bedside.
"Hello." He says, his eyes just then lighting up.
"Hi...how'd you sleep?"
"Fine...no thanks to Flare's piloting."
If you forgot, Flares was the overseer of flying the Union's Flaghship.
The two Medics in the room grab Dexter's hands, to help him stand up. He was able to, but he was a little shakey.
"Any pain?" One of them ask.
"No."
"Good, because I don't know how to fix a broken Exo."
The Engineers in the Hangar were "good enough" to fix Dexter's broken eyes and various scratches and dents.
"Ma'am, if you would step out, please?"
"Sure." Pariah leaves, closing the door behind her. She then waits outside in the cargo hold.
Although, it was very loud. It really was a giant gym filled with grown men who were ready for war, as well as very energetic Monster People.
They had workouts and bench presses on one side, a handmade basketball hoop on the other, and mostly open space all around.
So, Pariah decides to walk upstairs, to find Lady Ghost.
Camille was in her own quarters, which were connected to the bridge. She had the largest quarters in the ship, of course. She was leaned over her desk, trying desperately to sew her jacket back together. Morphyte had cut it up badly.
She was bad at sewing, she didn't know how.
The door was open, so Pariah walked in. There was music playing quietly.
