Azriel Thompson POV
Monday, May 25th
1:18 pmAnother hiss comes from me when I hear my name over the intercom. Standing I stretch big to take the laziness out of my body before going to stand in front of my supervisor.
I swear ever since I have come back to work fully this woman has made it her duty to work me out despite my doctor's slip saying that my work needs to be limited.
Walking to her door, I look at the time on my watch I have about 2 hours and change before I can leave here and go home where I will be pampered by Sir.
A smile makes its way on my face removing the frown that was once there. It widens when the thought of me entering the house to it fully dark with the only source of light being the light from the kitchen where he left a glass of sparkling non-alcoholic champagne and a bubble bath of warm water to relax my tense and stressed body.
Jamarion is the most romantic man I have met. A man that isn't afraid to express how he feels, a man that makes sure that I am good at all things while still retaining that strong masculine personality that he has.
I knock on the door and wait for the order to enter.
"You can come in" I roll my eyes at the sound of her voice before clearing my throat and placing a fake forced smile on my face.
"Yes Miss Morrison" I walk further inside and she lifts her head from the view of the multiple papers in front of her and looks up at me pushing her glasses further up her nose bridge.
"There's a box over there. I want you to go through it and pick the best ones. It's the drawings etc that were left by customers after the Easter competition that we had when you weren't here. Start with that box first and then come for those over there" She points to the 4 other thick boxes stacked on their each other.
Straightening my posture, I lean my head a bit to the side to look at her.
"I can't lift those boxes Miss" I share, something that she already knows.
"You are saying that after some many days back you still haven't healed?" She questions and I tick to answer her with attitude instead I nod my head slowly staring at her.
She shakes her head mouthing something under her breath.
"This is a workplace and you come here to work. I suggest that you find somewhere else to work if doing your work is such a problem to you" She voices her voice high and proud. Shock covers my face and I swallow hard.
"I have been medically cleared... I-.." She raises her hand silencing me.
"It's a simple task, Miss Thompson..." She pauses and pushes her chair back.
"If it's too difficult for you let me have your resignation letter by the end of the day" I nod my head and walk over to the first box.
I lift it with less energy than I thought I needed and my body shakes.
I pull it closer to me wrapping it up like how I would carry Maleek. I struggle with it back to my seat.
