Chapter 3, Hide and Seek with...Sonic?

As Y/N and Tails' sight adjusted to where they were all of a sudden, It became clear that they were on angel island.. But everything was on fire, Tails gave Y/N a terrified look, While Y/N was pretty scared himself

Tails: The whole Angel Island is on fire! What the heck happened here!?

Y/N: I don't know, but I bet it was... "Sonic" we need to start moving!

Tails: You're right! Let's go.

Y/N and Tails began to traverse Angel Island's forest, the place was massive and everything was on fire, soon they heard a terrifying laugh... Someone was chasing them

Y/N and Tails were running as fast as they could, they eventually had to jump and make it onto a ledge, they saw "Sonic" pass by, but his eyes were completely black with red pupils, and Tails with Y/N hid in a bush, and the fake Sonic appeared...

???: Damnit! How could i have let them get away so easily!?? They have to be around here somewhere..

After that, The fake Sonic laughed, before disappearing and the ground under Tails and Y/N collapsed, with them falling into a cave.

Y/N and Tails said nothing to each other, as they were both too stunned to speak, so they both traversed through the cave together, eventually going past a door... and they hid behind a rock because they heard someone coming.

???:Come out Tails and Y/N, don't make me come find you... So you wanna play hide and seek then? do you? This will be fun.

As the fake Sonic walked away, Tails was scared but Y/N was TERRIFIED, how did this creature know his name? It doesn't matter, they need to find a way out of here! So Tails quietly leaded Y/N and they traversed through the cave, using rockets to avoid the Clones, while Y/N found a button, opening the exit to the cave, the second they walked through though... The creature began to chase them again.

Y/N and Tails were both running for their lives, jumping past obstacles, they eventually came across a big ring, but when Tails entered, it disappeared, and Y/N was stuck with the creature, so he continued running, trying to find a way out.

???: Come on Y/N, you know I'm faster than you, so just give up and I promise your death won't be so painful.

Y/N said nothing as he saw the exit to the cave, he dashed through and it collapsed behind him, stopping the creature from following him.

???: Hm. They survived... for now.. I could play with them a little longer. But i have plans.

the creature laughed before once again disappearing, and Y/N decided to look for some sort of help, or warn people... So he went to Scrap Brain.
