"You know I'm just a flight away

If you want it, you can take a private plane

A kilómetros estamos conectando

Y me prendes aunque no me estés tocando

You know I got a lot to say

All these voices in the background of my brain

Y me dicen todo lo que estás pensando

Me imagino lo que ya estás maquinando"

A few months go by and your contact with Namjoon has been steady. Despite the 13 hour time difference, you both manage to find time for one another. It was an odd friendship, considering that a lot of your conversations with him danced around the theme of flirting with one another, but you felt the whole ordeal was innocent for the most part. Neither of you made any promises or suggestions to move things further, so you felt, at best, he was a friend.

Naomi thinks otherwise. In fact, she believes that after the upcoming break, some kind of relationship will form after coming back from visiting your family back home. She's fairly confident in her assumption, though you disagree.

"There's nothing wrong with a guy and a girl being friends." You say to Naomi.

The two of you were coming back from an afternoon workout. You weren't necessarily a fan of it, but Naomi has been quite the influence for you to add a session or two of exercising throughout the week.

"I didn't say there's anything wrong about it, but it's very unlikely for two individuals to remain just friends once they've hooked up. It goes against nature." She points out while tossing you a water from the fridge.

"Well, we're different." You reply stubbornly.

Naomi snorts out a laugh. "Right, and I'm the princess of Genovia." She remarks sarcastically.

You narrow your eyes at her. "Listen, we might flirt here and there but it's innocent."

"Sure, keep telling yourself that y/n. But I've been living with you for roughly three months–give or take, and you're a hopeless romantic to the core. A guy like Dimples should be someone you steer clear of." Naomi cautions, her voice a gentle mixture of concern and sincerity.

You let out a deep sigh. "I promise things won't escalate beyond friendship." You assure her before adding, "Besides, Jimin gets weirdly overprotective about dating his friends. That's why it's never happened in the past."

Naomi gives you a doubtful look before saying, "Okay, I just don't wanna come back from break to a depressed roomie. Believe me, when I was in boarding school further north, we always had some poor girl crying over a boy. They're not worth the tears." She says with a small smile.
