I could never lie, for you and I to come back I wait for

I'll put you in the waves

So you can naturally come and stay by my side

I am vaguely replacing you in a sea blue base

Nothing's changed, this is where you left your scent

The memory I can always grasp

The expressions I made when I looked at you

All of the stars in the world are in your eyes

The next day, you were thankful your last class got out just before noon. It gives you enough time to head back to your dorm room, change from your casual attire and into something interview appropriate, while making it to your interview appointment on time.

Café Nero was not far from your dorm building. It was a fifteen minute walk if you took your time, which was convenient. The place resided in a brick building, adorned with industrial décor that made it stand out compared to the other shops that surrounded it.

You enter the place and immediately spot Michael, the man who will be interviewing you today, sitting at one of the corner booths with various paperwork in front of him. He was on older man, looking to be in his mid-40's, sporting casual attire. He warmly greets you while offering you refreshments, to which you kindly decline. And so the interview begins.

The questions he asked were fairly standard, something you had prepped for through a quick google search on what would be asked in an interview. You rehearsed your answers all of last night, committing your responses to memory so you wouldn't have to use "um's" and "uh's" to facilitate your answers. All your preparation paid off in the end since Michael had a pleased expression on his face as the interview was coming to a close.

"Well, I think you'd make a great addition to our team." He says with a bright smile while adding on, "If possible, I'd like you to start training today. You'll just be observing the work culture and shadowing a few of our experienced employees."

You nod in earnest, happy that you got the job. Michael hands you a packet of papers that looked a little intimidating for being hired as a hostess. It makes you wonder what your job description entailed.

"This packet explains your job description and expectations while covering company policy and rules. There are a few other forms that require your signature, but those can be looked over after tonight. Just be sure to turn them in by the end of the week." He goes on to say as you nod your head in acknowledgement.

Michael spares another smile in your direction before saying, "If you've no further questions, welcome to the team! Now, let's get you introduced to everyone that's here."
