Carter and Luke were both trying to avoid each other, but really couldn't since Carter had to breakfast for Luke. They sit in the school parking lot for what seems like forever. Students parking and getting out of their cars to get to class early.

"So last night..." He trails off. Carter nods her head, humming. "I.. well..."

Carter glances over at Luke. "I.. I'm not going to say that I regret it," she mumbles, looking down at her lap. Luke looks over at her and she looks back over at him. "I know I broke rule five from that stupid little paper you wrote me."

Luke chuckles, smiling. "You still remember that? That was like four months ago,"

She smiles, "Well I have a pretty good memory at remembering things," he nods his head, looking forward. "I mean if you want we can put this whole kissing thing behind us. I mean we're obviously fake dating, but no one knows that, but no one's seen us kiss, so I mean we can put it behind us."

Luke nods his head. "Yeah. Let's put it behind us and forget it happened," Carter nods her head and Luke looks over at her. He examines her features and mumbles a 'fuck it' and kisses Carter. She grips onto his biceps and Luke tugs her and she climbs over and sit on his lap, blindly, pushing the button on the side, so that the seat reclines back.

They're lips move, tongue being involved and Luke has Carter whimpering.

They get into class and Carter taps her foot on the floor. Mr. Bates is talking about something, so there are times where he actually has to give lessons. Ashton looks around from the desk that is next to Mr. Bates and is watching Danielle. She's a bit pale, but she's always been light skinned.

Her eyes move up and down as she tries to talk notes even though it's not required, but that's Danielle for you always writing things down. Ashton smiles and looks down, continuing to grade papers.

Once Mr. Bates is done talking about the lesson, everyone is free to do what they please. Ashton gets up, seeing as he's done and walks over to Danielle, who's looking over a few things. He grabs a chair and pulls it, sitting down so that his arms are resting on the back as he faces Danielle.

"How are you," Ashton asks.

Danielle looks up and nods her head. "Yeah. I'm fine Ash, you don't have to worry about me," she tells him, putting a few things away.

Ashton sighs. "Danielle you had me worried. I... I'm so scared because what if this happens again and you end up dying," he whispers to her. She swallows the lump in her throat because Ashton's right. She can't let this get out of hand. Ashton grabs her hand and she looks up. He wipes the tears away. "Shh. Don't cry okay. I'll help you. If need you can stay at my house until you have to leave. I want to spend as much time with you and I don't think your mum would mind."

Danielle sighs, but nods her head. "It's not like she'll care either way, she didn't even come and visit me at the hospital either way," Ashton frowns, but doesn't say anything.

"I'll pick a few of your things up while you're at school and I'll pick you up—" the bell rings, cutting Ashton off a bit. "—once school is done okay. Now let's go to lunch, you're eating something."

She rolls her eyes, but mentally agrees. Ashton helps her pack up and takes her bag, putting the chair back, he grabs her hand and they walk to the canteen hand in hand, a few students wondering if they're back together.

They walk over to their friends once they go inside the canteen. Ashton chats about college lifes and Danielle just chuckles because Ashton likes to complain a lot about college.

They sit down and everyone looks at them. "Are you two back together?" Carter asks, smirking. She's forgiven Ashton since he's been helping Danielle a lot.

Ashton shakes his head, his hand still holding Danielle's. "No. I'm just spending time with this lucky girl and who gave you those love bites Ash?"

Silver gasps and Carter tries to wrap her hair around her neck. "Luke Hemmings! You gave my friend hickies!" Silver screeches.

Luke smirks, humming as he eats a chip. "Yes I did and she kept begging, so I kept biting," Carter asks, smacking Luke on the arm. "Princess don't be so violent. I only speak the truth."

"You're so rude," she mumbles, eating her food. He steals half of Carter's turkey sandwich and gives it to Danielle, who takes it and begins to eat. Luke hands Ashton his crisps and he thanks him and Danielle opens them eating them. "Look who's hungry, who else are you feeding?"

Danielle tenses up and everyone notices and Carter just wants to hide. Danielle nervously chuckles. "You're funny Ash. I'm super hungry. The bitch I call my mum didn't feed me this morning," she mumbles, picking up a crisp and popping it in her mouth.

"Anyway," Luke says, trying to get the attention off of Danielle because Luke can sense that she's never and doesn't want eyes on her. "I have a game tonight, princess are you coming?"

Carter hums, dipping her chip in ketchup. She sighs, looking over at him. "I don't know. I mean why would I go to your game, when I can go out and party or stay home and watch Netflix,"

"Because everyone knows you don't party and you always complain how you never get out," Luke tells.

She nods. "True. Alright I'll go, back you're all coming and no getting out of it!" She points to everyone and they sigh.

"Oh shut up Calum, you're on the team too," Silver snorts. Calum glares at her and Michael glares at him too. Danielle glances at Carter and she gives her that 'sorry' look. Danielle smiles at her and continues to eat.

Everyone's at the game and Carter has Luke's jersey. HEMMINGS is one the back with Luke's favourite number, 7. Everyone's cheering on for Luke and Calum. Ashton has his arms wrapped around Danielle from behind and she's smiling. It's fresh outside, but there's a cold wind .

Carter wraps her arms around herself and she yells, "Go Luke!" Everyone's cheering and she smiles as Calum passes Luke the ball and he's running towards the goal. Carter watches as Luke passes the last defender and it's only him and the goalie and a few defenders running after him. Carter is mumbling a few things as Luke is near the goal.

Luke kicks the ball and another play pushes into him and Luke falls hitting his head on the goal post and he passes out and he makes the final goal. "Luke!" Carter yells as she begins a walk.

"Ash wait," Ashton says. The buzzer goes off and Luke's team wins, but Luke hasn't gotten up yet. The call for the sports medicine team as they run over to where Luke is at and Carter watches.

"He'll be okay Ash," Danielle tells her. She feels her blood go cold as they say he won't wake up.
