Rai's POV

"In order to insult me, I must first value your opinion, nice try though." I said before turning around to find Liam staring at me emotionless.

Why is this prince so cold?

"Move," he said coldly, practically pushing me off the seat.

"Uum, rude." I scoffed fixing my hair.

"Shouldn't you be practicing with Luna?" I asked undisturbed leaning on the cold glass wall.

He just ignored me and started pressing on the piano keys. He didn't even bother to look at me.

The nerve of this prince.

His playing was magical nevertheless. I stood there watching in awe as his fingers danced across the keys with a mix of grace and purpose, his posture upright and his focus intense as he navigated the intricate patterns of the musical sheet embedded on the piano.

His expression constantly shifted reflecting the mood of the music, firm serene concentration to bursts of passionate intensity, right there I heard one of the best instrumentals. I just stood there amazed despite his rudeness.

"You know, for a prince this rude, you play magically." I said lifting one side of my cheek and crossing my arms in front of my chest.

"You know for a citizen this good-looking you are quite disrespectful." He said standing up from the seat and moving towards me.

I slowly retreated towards the glass wall, trying to get away from him.

"Are you always, this disrespectful?" He questioned putting his right arm over my head onto the glass wall, his perfect face really close to mine and one of his eyebrows raised. A slight wave of desire flashed across his visage.

I could feel his warm mint breath making traces on my face as his ash grey eyes made contact with mine.

Oh please don't be twenty seconds.

"I do not wish to perform with her," he stated simply dropping his arm from the wall and getting back to the piano.

"Well, who are you gonna perform with?" I questioned finally feeling the cold air hit my body which was filled with relief.

"You," he said unbothered getting up from the seat.

"What if I don't want to?" I asked raising a brow and finally getting my back off the glass wall.

"It's none of my business now, is it?" He looked at me and said before walking away. I was just left standing there shocked.

Well jokes on him because I was no instrumentalist.

The bell for lunch rang and students swarmed the hallways making their way to the dining hall. I walked with Lex obviously.

Might I just mention how Crowns differed from any normal school in the world.

One didn't have to serve themselves like in a normal school cafeteria instead, Crowns took the structure of a restaurant.

We entered the hall and went to sit at a table which could accommodate ten. The tables were perfectly polished with a beautiful tablecloth running from end to end, matching the school color scheme.

There were crisp napkins each folded into an elegant crown shape placed inside a napkin ring, adding a touch of sophistication.

We were joined by Tinku and Silantoi. Immediately we sat, a well-dressed waitress came to take our order. They had all kinds of food; I wasn't really sure, so I just went with what Lex ordered.
