Rai's POV

We drove for ten minutes or so and finally came to a halt.

When I stepped outside I was amazed, we were standing on top of a bridge that overlooked all the beautiful structures of Crowns

And the sky did not fail me as it was filled with stars.

"Why are we here?" I inquired.

"My instrumental is perfect so we just have to work on the vocals and I prefer nature when working on such delicate things. Said Liam.

Delicate.

We practiced for a while and stopped when we were satisfied.

"That was great," he said as he walked towards the bridge rail.

"Yeah," I agreed as I followed him.

I gazed at the stars and forgot all that existed around me.

"You seem to love stargazing," he stated, his ash gray eyes staring into mine making the moths in my stomach to flutter.

"Wow, so you can talk." I said staring at him with a slight smile.

"Yeah, it's because I did it with a very special person." I added.

"What, you wanna talk about your ex on this beautiful night?" He mocked, finally breaking the eye contact.

"What! No," I said hitting him on the shoulder, a frown forming on my face.

"My dad and I used to love stargazing, he passed away, now every time I look at stars I believe one of them is him." I said with a smile and a tear rolling down my cheeks.

"Oh, I'm sorry," he said as he got closer to me wrapping his huge arms around my frame and my head going over his shoulder. I felt safe at his body warmth and the sweet scent of his cologne gracing the hairs of my nostrils.

May this moment last forever.

"You know, she loved stargazing too." He finally said after a moment of silence.

"My younger sister, she was shot." He continued and I finally saw emotions on his face. Sadness and joy all at the same time.

I looked him in the eye and told him to let it all out.

I watched as tears rolled down his face. He cried with such emotion, such pain that I almost felt it.

I just embraced him stroking his hair. We stayed like this for a while and finally decided to call it a night.

"Goodnight, thank you for the ride," I told Liam before getting out of his car.

"No, thank you my lady," he said, this time with a genuine smile. We stayed there for a moment staring right into each other's eyes.

Grey on blue.

I found Lex asleep, I had texted her that I would be late.

I got ready for bed and dialed my mum's number.

"Hey sunshine, how is school?" She asked with a smile.

"It's awesome, even more beautiful than we see on tv." I said taking a bite from my cupcake.

We talked for about ten minutes and I finally drifted to sleep.

"We must make you a killer dress for The Rhythms of Alma." Said Lex, drowning in enthusiasm.

She had invited her maids to our abode to take out measurements for the upcoming event.
