Rai's POV
"I really miss everyone, can't wait to get back to school. I mean, it's only been a week or two, tops." Said Lex as she twirled in her huge crystal outfit-trying closet, definitely the thing of the century.
"Never in a thousand years did I ever think I would hear those words coming from your mouth, Lexandra." I said jokingly as I cheekily smiled at the hologram sent by my one and only. It was Liam dancing, quite a sight to behold.
"I promise you right now that I did not inherit the same left leg as him, the fact that we shared a womb notwithstanding."
"Oh, I like that one!" I said, referring to the outfit she had on. Our girl group decided to go for an academia look for the first day of school.
We were all wearing something along the lines of a slick ponytail secured with a delicate diamond-studded tiara. A crisp corset blouse stopping neatly just above a body hugging mini skirt cinched at the waist with a gold-buckled belt. A short baggy collared coat embroidered with royal insignia stopping just below the skirt.
And of course the unmistakable knee-high boots.
"Ladies, we are gonna be late if you keep brushing your hair for the hundredth time." Said Liam who was now standing in the doorway. Of course in all his glory; He was in a midnight-black tux, tailored to perfection, that draped over his broad shoulders, its gold embroidery forming intricate patterns. The tux was left slightly open, revealing a crisp white silk shirt unbuttoned just enough to make a girl go crazy.
His trousers, perfectly fitted in jet-black cashmere, flowed seamlessly into polished leather shoes, their deep obsidian shine almost blinding me.
His hair was artfully tousled, with a golden shimmering crown sitting with grandeur on his head.
I gulped as I stared him up and down trying to take in how he effortlessly looked like a god. A wave of butterflies flew across my heart when he winked at me, clearly telling me that he had noticed I was staring.
Well done Rai, just well done.
"Do that less often, you'll burst his already inflated ego." Suggested Lex as we made our way out of her room.
"He's bound to have such an ego, he's a crown prince, and have you seen him!?, how am I supposed to stay collected" I protested as we finally caught up with Liam who gladly clutched his arm around my shoulders.
Butterflies. Don't get me wrong I love butterflies but, the damn butterflies.
....෴....
Once we got downstairs I was taken aback to say the least. When I say my life had turned into some sort of movie, believe me. I mean, just picture this:
First, Csan strode in, removing his sunglasses with a dramatic sigh. “Two weeks without you all? Utterly dreadful. I nearly perished.” He turned to Sasha and placed a dramatic hand over his heart.
“Mon amour, you’re a vision, as always.”
Sasha smiled gently, adjusting her diamond-studded hairpin. “Of dear. Absence makes the heart grow fonder, but two weeks? That’s cruelty.” She added with a slight giggle.
“Oh please, Csan, you were literally sending us voice notes on the group chat daily about your 'suffering' in the Egyptian Riviera, I think we all regret telling you there was a group chat.” He grinned, pulling me into a side hug.
I chuckled. “You’re all so dramatic. I bet you spent half that time shopping.”
Then Kyle walked in, tugging at his Rolex absentmindedly. “Speak for yourselves. My queen mother decided two weeks apart was a perfect time for a political tour. If I had to smile at one more foreign delegate, I was going to lose it.” Of course his eyes softenned when he spotted Silantoi. “But you, my love, make it all worth it.”
