Rai's POV
After Santorini we went back to crowns. Every second year student had to be back by the thirtieth for the promise ball. This was the ball of the year, where every kingdom's and royal's future was determined. Princesses would be proposed to but of course they would not get married until after graduating from Royalty's Academy which was like two years after every Royal's promise ball.
It was important for it to be held at Crowns Academy at the end of year two as it would determine which school in the Royalty's Academia a royal would attend in the following year after crowns.
Not every royal was a crown royal so they would not be attending Relics Academy which was solely for Royals taking over the crown. So if one got proposed to at the promise ball by a crown royal or if themselves were a crown royal and they propose to a fellow crown royal or a non-crown royal or completely a non-royal like me, they would attend Relics Academy.
Now if one was a non crown royal, they would either attend Pearls Academy or Tiaras Academy. If they were a second born then they got to attend Tiaras Academy. The rest would attend pearls academy then all the royals from Pearls, Tiaras and Relics Academy would come together again in their final year at Royalty Academy where they would finish their royal training and finally be coronated and have their weddings.
It was crazy to think that I would be attending Relics Academy if Liam proposed.
"Earth to Rai." I was pulled from my trance by Lex snapping her fingers in my face.
"Oh sorry, did you say something." I inquired, earning a giggle from everyone at the table. We were all at the restaurant where Lex first introduced me to everyone. Crazy that this group of friends has changed my life so much in such a short time.
"You are thinking too much, guys I think we need a sleepover at the villa to take our minds off everything." Liam suggested to everyone, squeezing my arm for reassurance in the process.
"You know I can never say no to fun, after all, I'm not getting proposed to by anyone anyway so no stress to me." Said Tinku from across the table.
Always unbothered.
That night we had a sleepover at the villa and Csan made us a cake. Classic Csan.
"This is not horrible, I'm gonna give you that." Said Siin, raising his hand to take another piece.
"A prince that cooks, Princess Sasha you hit the jackpot!" Said Lex making all of us laugh and getting some protests from Siin.
We then made some pizza and played basketball. The guys let us win. We jumped in the pool and did karaoke. Then when everyone else fell asleep during the movie, Liam and I snuck away to our favorite spot to gaze at the stars.

"Dearest Estrella Nurey, will you do me the honor and accept to be my future queen, will you marry me?"...
Three weeks earlier
I had never worn anything so beautiful in my life.
I stood in the private fitting suite of Maison Aurellé, a Parisian designer house known for dressing royalty since the early 2100s. Sunlight filtered in through sheer velvet curtains, casting a gentle glow on the sea of pastel gowns and shimmering beadwork. I watched as the designer, Madame Aurellé herself—famed for her strict perfectionism and gentle touch—circled me with a tape measure and knowing eyes.
“You have the kind of elegance that threads itself into silk,” she whispered. “Your gown will be poetry.”
And it was.
