I awoke to something moving on the other side of some bushes. I got up ever so slowly and snuck my way out of the cave. The first thought that came to my mind was that Rhett had already found me. But when I got closer I could tell that it wasn't a wolf nor a human. It was a deer.
My heart started to beat at a normal pace now that I knew what it was.
My stomach growled and I knew that I should get something to eat before I started my journey again. The deer was still there when I looked back up. So I hunkered down and waited.
When the time was right I jumped out of the bushes and pounced on the deer. It fought back. After a few more minutes of fighting with the deer I finally went for the throat, killing it instantly.

When I got done eating I went to the nearest pond and got a drink. Then I was on my way to who knows where.
While I was walking I had thought of an idea. I would go to the next pack which is the Red Blood Pack and stay with them for a while. Their Alpha is like my second father. I always go to visit them whenever I can.
I smiled at my idea and kept on walking. My smile soon faded when I realized that my wolf hasn't talked to me since last night.
'Hey. Are you okay?' I asked her with concern.
'No, I'm not okay. You ran away from our mate and I'm upset. I can feel his emotions and he's sad and scared. That makes me even more upset.' She said with a whine before cutting me off.
She was right. What I had done was wrong. It was just a spur of the moment thing and I didn't know what to do. I could always turn back around and stay with him or keep going.
I just decided to keep going and leave him behind along with all the other people that I knew. Like my family and friends.
I picked up my pace and soon I was running. Next thing I knew was that I was standing in front of the border line that crossed into the Red Blood Pack. I took one last glance at the trees and stuff behind me, then I crossed. No turning back now. Not for a while anyways.
