Once I crossed over I started to walk again. It had only been ten minutes before something crashed into my side making me fall over. It was another wolf.

It was a big brown wolf, almost the size of an Alpha. It had yellow eyes that were glowing and staring at me intently. I was about to snap at its throat when another wolf came into view.

It growled and soon the brown wolf got off of me. I got up and sat down waiting for the other wolves around me to shift. Once they were done that came out of the bushes.

"Go shift." The Alpha demanded. I could tell that he wasn't trying to be threatening because he already knew who I was.

So without hesitation, I got up and went behind a bush to shift. Once I put the clothes on I came out. The Alpha was smiling at me and I smiled back.

I ran into his arms and hugged him. We stayed like that for awhile and we soon let go.

"Why are you all the way out here?" Alpha James asked me with concern and curiosity.

"Can we go ahead and go to the pack house? I'll tell you all about it on the way there." I told him. He nodded his head and soon we were on our way to the pack house.

I had already told James everything that had happened once we arrived to the house. When we stepped inside I heard somebody scream.

"Lydia!" Said a girls voice that came from my right. I looked over and saw a girl with dark brown hair. She was dressed in short shorts with a cute shirt that said Hakuna Matata on it with an infinity sign. Her hair was flattened and she had on some small diamond earrings.

I didn't know who she was until I looked closer. It was Roni. James daughter. She was and still is one of my best friends here at the Red Blood Pack.

She got up off of the couch and ran to me. She tackled me into a huge bear hug. I hugged her back. We soon pulled apart and started talking.

"What?! I'm gone for a year and this is what happens to you! You've changed so much Roni!" I exclaim. She laughs and says,

"Well look who's talking." Now we were both laughing. Our laughs soon turned into small giggles.

"Lydia?" I turn to look at stairs to see Roni's brother Matt. He was always a year older than me. I used to have the hugest crush on him when we were little and he knew it too. He would always pick on me because of it too. But not in the bad way.

"Hey Matt." I said with a smile on my face.

"I knew it was you. I could recognize that laugh anywhere." He said as he came over to give me a hug. He picked me up and spun me from side to side. Anybody who didn't know us would think that we were dating if they saw this. But that would be weird because now I think of him as a brotherly figure and that's never gonna change.

He set me down and said that he had to go to work but that he'll be back later. Me and Roni said ok and waved goodbye. We then went to tell her mom, Lacey, that i was here. We went upstairs to Roni's room after talking with her mom.

When we got in her room, she started to tell me all the latest gossip that has been going around. We stayed in there for about an hour and a half and soon we heard a knock on her door.

"Come in!" She yelled and in came her dad.

"Lydia, if you don't mind, could you please come into my office. It won't take long I promise." He said. I nodded my head and went with him but not before telling Roni that I'd be back.

James lead me down a long hallway and then we took a right. We passed three more rooms and soon we were facing a dark brown wooden door he opened it up and told me to take a seat in one of the chairs. So I did.

"I wanted to discuss with you about you staying with us. Since you ran away from your old pack that now makes you a rogue." I nodded my head in understanding and then he kept going.

"So since your here with us, I'd like you to just become a member of the Red Blood Pack. It's up to you if you want to or not." He said.

My eyes widened and I nodded my head with a smile on my face. I only expected him to let me stay for a few days or weeks, not to become a member.

"Alright, then it's settled. We will have ceremony for you joining our pack. It will be a great pleasure to have you here with us too Lydia." He said as he got up from his chair and came to stand in front of me. I stood up as well and hugged him.

"Thank you." I whispered as he put his arms around me.

"Anytime." He said as he let go. I went outside of his office and started to walk back to Roni's room to tell her the great news. Who knows, maybe I will be better off like this.
