Second Chance

For the longest time Changbin just stared at his bestfriend sleeping in peaceful slumber and it just amazed him how one person could be so breathtaking. He ran his thumb across my jawline then across my forehead, ,moving some hair out of the way and that was where he saw of the scars that were now a just a mere silver mark but to him it was too real of all that has happened. As he heard a faint giggle it made his heart skip a beat that he was giving enough security to make this moment happen.

"I want you to always feel this safe when you are with me." he said. "I just wish I could've been there that night when evil invaded your home and caused you so much pain." As he sat there he soon heard me talking in my sleep and what he was going to hear would be something he wouldn't soon forget.

Later on when my parents both were home Changbin himself thought it was a good time to head home himself so after alot of goodbyes and all the promises he was making his bestfriend repeat he soon was on his way out. All the way from the complex all that he heard earlier was weighing hard on his mind so he called Chan to meet him somewhere beside the dorm cause he needed to talk to him in private. They agreed to meet at the JYP gym, Chan said that he would bring Changbin some clothes to work out in. When Chan showed up he seen Changbin sitting on a work bench looking at his phone so he walked over holding out Changbin's bag making him look up, "here you go, like you requested." Chan said. 

"Thank you." Changbin said taking it and getting to his feet. "I will be right back."

"Ok, I will start warming up." Chan said as Changbin nodded and headed to the changing room. Chan could see that there was something definitely bothering his friend and couldn't wait to hear what he was called here. Chan was jumping rope when Changbin finally came out in different clothes so he stopped, "is NaRi ok?"

"She was after finally getting some sleep, she slept for like two hours while I was there." Changbin said getting him a drink of water from his sports bottle.

"Well that is good, she having trouble sleeping at night?" Chan saw Changbin nod. "I guess a change of venue may have made things a little worse?" Chan didn't see any response, "why don't you just tell me cause obviously it is serious if you couldn't tell me at the dorm?"

"This is a two part problem." Changbin said, "and I don't know if the last one qualifies as a problem or just something I don't need to overlook?"

"One problem at a time, how about that?" Chan said. Changbin nodded and told him about the dream where Chase turned into him. "oh wow..I am speechless on that one!" he said "how awful for both of you."

"You are telling me cause why would her mind go there cause I would never do anything like that to her?"

"Well I am just guessing but the love you two have for each other her mind my of gone there cause NaRi really hasn't felt real love until you came into her life and she may think that one day you won't feel the same way about her?" Chan could see that Changbin didn't like that statement. "you know I am right to a point don't you?"

"I do about not having real love until me but about the part where I could stop loving her isn't a something I want to hear." Changbin said. "I just can't imagine how it was for her to see me hovering above her punching her..." Changbin started to get mad at the thought of that. "I wish that sick punk never came into her life!"

"I know but it did happen cause back then she did have a reason to fall for him but she never expected him to do what he did. Um, can I ask a very personal question?"

"Sure."

"Did something trigger him to turn on someone that by all accounts he really did love?" Chan could see that Changbin didn't want to answer, "you don't have to tell me if it is too much?"
