This is the sequel to my fan fiction series 'The walls we've built' so if you are reading this and that title does not sound familiar, you should head to my page to find the first novel of this ongoing story. To those who have read TWWB, welcome back! This book follows the same storyline as season 2 of AOT and the beginning of season 3.
If its been a while since you read TWWB I'll quickly recap how it ended:
After capturing the Female titan, Zariya and the gang return to headquarters for debrief and recovery. Zariya has a visit from Armin and her best friends Gen and Jacob.

Personality: Zariya is a very caring and fearless person who is trying to prove herself as a brave soldier. She is a kind person who tries to avoid trouble at all cost, except when the people she loves are in danger (well, at least most of the time). She chose to join the cadet corps after her traumatic experience in 845 when the colossal titan attacked her home town in Shiganshina district.
What happened in 845? At the time of the first colossal titan attack, Zariya was only 10 years old, living with her family in Shiganshina. Her parents were never around to raise her or her older brother Nicolas (she calls him nick) and because of this, Nicolas raised Zariya. For majority of her life it was just her and Nick with the occasional visit from her parents to give them just enough money to survive (sometime not even enough). She is extremely close with Nick, he is Zariya's hero and he would do anything he can to protect her. Nick briefly did cadet training but quit when he learned that Zariya was abandoned by their parents, he always protects Zariya and taught her self defence. During the colossal titan attack of 845, her parents had come home for one of their visits. It was a normal morning for their family, she was making breakfast while nick argued with their parents about their poor parenting skills. That's until everything changed..
