WARNINGS OF A PLANE CRASH

Eastern Airlines Flight 304, registered as November 8607 (N8607), was a scheduled domestic passenger flight that used the a Douglas DC-8 from New Orleans International Airport (IATA: MSY, ICAO: KMSY), New Orleans, Louisiana to Washington Dulles International Airport (IATA: IAD, ICAO: KIAD), Washington D.C, which crashed on the 25th of February 1964, all 51 passengers and 7 crew (58 in total) were killed in the crash.
Flight 304 left New Orleans International Airport for Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport (IATA: ATL, ICAO: KATL), Atlanta, Georgia at 2:01am CST (Central Standard Time) on the second leg of a flight from Mexico City International Airport (IATA: MEX, ICAO: MMMX), Mexico City, Mexico to John F. Kennedy International Airport (IATA: JFK, ICAO: KJFK), New York City, New York, with intermediate stops at New Orleans, Atlanta and Washington D.C, the aircraft disappeared from radar nine minutes after takeoff, at 2:10am CST, good visibility and calm winds prevailed at the time of the accident, although light rain was also falling, the Coast Guard and other searchers spotted wreckage hours later round dawn in Lake Pontchartrain, about 20 miles (32 kilometres) northeast of New Orleans.
